It´s an easy course for intermediate/advanced students of English as a second language. It helps organize and understand English grammar and structures and how to face writing an essay. I would recommend it for anyone who needs to write presentations in English. The forums can be improved. Many of the people in the forums was more interested in receiving correction to their English grammar than in giving feedback on other people´s writing style. It was also complicated to find one´s previous contribution in the forum. Hope it helps!

I had no idea about China before taking the course. The videos, graphics, maps and material presented in the course is amazing. Easy to understand and remember. History of China is complex, but the instructors explained it easily and in a really entertaining way. The evaluations were well designed and easy to respond. Excellent course for anyone wanting to understand more about Chinese history, ideology and origins.

Before taking the course I had only studied history at secondary school, I found it very interesting, and the connection they made when explaining a history topic with photography, literature and art was really interesting. It helped me, as they offered, to understand the main ideas of the Twentieth Century and why we are how we are not. Some of the listenings were a little long (for me) and I did not find much sense in getting scores from just ticking yes when I finished watching the video. But, I dearly recommend the course for anyone wanting to understand the Ideas that brought us here.

I had no experience whatsoever in logics before taking the course. I found it extremely interesting, I could understand the material (even though I am not a native speaker of English) and learned a lot. It helped me think and rethink fundaments of society we take for granted and to question them. The global classroom, with students from all over the world, was also fantastic. Listening to very different opinions about global topics (such as surrogate motherhood) helped me get a gist of where the global thought is going to. It is an interesting course for anyone with an open mind and a desire to understand more our decisions and choices as human beings and societies
