After using SQL for my job for two years, this class was exactly what I needed to learn how to do databases better. While not all of the information was useful (particularly when you're learning concepts not included in the SQL standard!), I ended with a wealth of knowledge. I was even able to share some new concepts with my boss, who had been using SQL for years. I would highly recommend this to anyone even remotely interested in DB interaction.
This course gave me a good primer to python and taught me some clever ways to interact with websites. The subject matter did get a little over my head by the end, so much so that when I stopped taking the class and returned a month later, the subject I was studying seemed foreign. If you're interested in a class that will teach you python well, I would recommend 'Learn Python the Hard Way', a free class taught by Zed Shaw.
I came in understanding very little about Project R and Statistics, but the course took me through the big concepts and, by the end, I had a great experience. The projects were very challenging, but with dedicated work I was able to complete them. Would recommend to anyone interested in Data Science.
