This is a followup course to Financial engineering I. So prior understanding of financing as well as Financial Engineering I is mandatory. Again a wonderful pair of instructors in a very fast pace class. You will learn a lot here.
This course is very hard. You need to have financing background to understand. This is very fast pace with rather tough homework. I also did learn a lot on using excel in this class to do some fancier things. Both instructors are excellent.
Bootcamp 1 is a great course. The likelihood approach is probably the only one so far mentioned. I also learnt how to use statistical power. This is a great course, albeit not very demanding.
I would say this is by far the most well organized class. The teacher present the material very well and the lecture notes ae excellent for study and review in the future. The lab work is very helpful. I missed the peer review submission by an hour. Definitely will try in the future.
This is a very short class with high concentration on programming. I spent a lot of time trying to figure out how to do R and learn a lot during the 4-week period. This is short but hard class. I highly recommend it!
Dr, Whiteman is an excellent teacher. All the models and explanations comes clear. This is a good intro class. I enjoyed it very much!
