I took this course as a refresher of my 15+ years old class in Uni. It introduces complex programming paradigm in a very practical way and most of the time it is transparent to the learner (unless you already have good notion about software engineering). And the "artificial" programming language forces the learner to focus on the content without a need to worry too much about the form (which many other programming classes focus on). I find it very refreshing as many people pretend to know how to program just because they know all the tricks of C++ or Python or ???. This course teaches how to build a robust program, the programming language is not so relevant. I strongly recommend this course for someone who would like to structure a bit their programming method.

I had no prior experience on the subject. I took this class in order to expand my knowledge on the application of a product I am currently working on (Semiconductor Industry). And I was not let down! First I learned what I wanted to learn about, but I got a lot more out of it! The class were well organised in term of progression. The lecturer was very knowledgeable on the topic. The target audience is someone that want to mix his/her own song. And, to my limited knowledge, this was fully covered: from the performer perspective, the recording aspect, the effects, the processing and the mixing. Very practical.

This class covers the theoretic fundamentals of Acoustic. The class is a video taken in a classroom. Nothing fancy. The lecturer seem very knowledgeable and help me understand better the specificities of acoustics (I studied Electrical Engineering).

I registered to this class as what was meant to be a refresher to my Electrical Engineering CMOS class taken 15 years ago. I soon realised that the topic advanced a lot during that time. I stopped after lecture 6 as this is not a subject I deal with on a regular basis and I chose to focus my little free time on some other class I was following. I thinks I have learned enough to be able to follow a basic discussion between Analogue Designers on this topics (and I bought the book in case I need to understand a bit deeper some aspect not covered yet). The class is of Postgraduate level. The lecturer is extremely knowledgeable in the topic and goes in depth into this topic. This class is a typical slide based class, nothing fancy. It helps to have the book to follow, but it is not a requirement.

This is an excellent introduction to competitive strategies. It covers all the fundamental economic concepts without going through the algebra: a very practical approach to the domain. I strongly recommend this course to anyone dealing with competition and product placement. The lecturer is highly knowledgeable and make this complex topic easy to understand! And, as an added bonus, you can get a view of some nice buildings in Munich :) I took this class with zero knowledge in the domain and I was able to follow without any difficulty (disclaimer: I studied Engineering in University).

I took this class as a refresher, and it was still quite challenging, in a good way (I graduated in EE 15 year ago!). This course review the theoretical fundamentals of electronics with a small emphasis on communication/RF methods (as opposed to power or control). The lecturer is very competent and very good at explaining complex topics. One small thing I disliked was that I spent hours on some assignment questions only because of a minor mistake in the algebra... So I guess I got Algebra & EE refreshed ;) 2-in-1! You should plan quite a bit of free time to fully benefit from this class.

I was happily challenged during this class (and I did not make it easier on myself by programming in perl, not so popular nowadays among academics!) This class made me realise why students from prestigious universities have better chances in life: having such enthusiastic, knowledgeable and altogether excellent teacher is such an advantage! The technical content and delivery are both excellent. I am looking forward to get some free time again to take part 2 of this class.

Excellent content and very well taught, a very good mix of theory and practice. Unfortunately, I could not finish the class because of vacation (very slow internet: too frustrating!) I will definitely finish it next time it is on.

This is an excellent course to help you to think on your feet :) There is a big emphasis on the scientific method, which is a essential skill to posses nowadays. I recommend this course to anyone who want an introduction on how scientific thinks or would like to go back to school. I strongly recommend this course to any first year student as it is full of tricks on how to be a more efficient learner.
