This course has 3 units to it, and I found it to be very interactive and interesting, and the best part is you end up with your own online resume which you can use to showcase your growing skills. The first unit kicks off with talk about the JavaScript language and how to use it in a webpage, it also talks about the way we can insert content inside our web page, and more importantly how content can be added programmatically in your webpage. A light use of jQuery is also shown here, which you'll be using throughout the course. Unit1 talks about the data types in JavaScript, variables, booleans, objects. Other things taught in this course is about JSON and the basic usage. And yeah, the instructors are awesome in this course, they are concise and clear in delivering the knowledge which keeps you hooked. Overall I think this course covers all the basics you need to take your JavaScript adventure started in an effective and fun way. I would recommend any one interested in learning JavaScript to take this course, and then continue with advanced concepts.

I took this course after completing Intro to JavaScript in Udacity. This course in can be summed up as short, sweet & awesome. Basic knowlegde of HTML, CSS is required (like what are tags, id, class). There are just 2 units (took me just around 3 hours to complete) and it straight away kicks off with what jQuery is, how to use it in your own website and why its so popular with front-end development. It had a handful of quizzes which gives a good practice on using various jQuery methods and also a good practice on using the documentation. I would recommend anyone interested in jQuery to take this class. For best results its good to complete Intro to JavaScript (also in Udacity) as this I believe will cement the knowledge and help build appreciation for jQuery.
