I have a degree in graphic design and have been working FT as a web designer/Developer for the last 8 years. Recently, I have been getting tons of calls from recruiters looking for UI/UX candidates. So many that I decided to find a course to add to my experience. I have been pushing code for too long and wanted to get back into the more creative aspect of things. I googled online and found career foundry. I checked out the course and thought about it for 3 weeks before finally signing up. I'm glad I did. The course was far more cost effective than others and fit my work schedule after work. Some assignments were tough to finish after work so I tried to work ahead. The courses were in good nightly chunks for the most part and the reading was interesting and gave me things to think about. The course was far more cost effective than others and fit my work schedule after work. Some assignments were tough to finish after work so I tried to work ahead. The courses were in good nightly chunks for the most part and the reading was interesting and gave me things to think about. A few assignments where you were asked to gather up your friends or strangers to test a workflow of a website and have them download things on their own personal systems is a bit much. Hard to pull together in one night and you get resistance from people to add apps to their system. Those assignments are a bit much,. Maybe they can be tweaked somehow. The assignments got me thinking creatively again and I really enjoyed designing my app and working creatively on that part. I have many samples and wireframes to show potential employers. My mentor also works actively in the industry so the instructors know what they're talking about. I would highly recommend the course to others.

The content was enjoyable to read and they kept the tone upbeat and identifiable, which was extremely helpful in some of the more challenging modules.
