You're doing great! This course helped me recollect and organize all I've learned previously, pluss filled in some theory holes in the topic.

Slow and Steady Wins the Race! Very unique and creative way to teach JavaScript for beginners. There are a few areas within some of the lessons that the information given isn't clear enough to tackle some of the hands on lessons, meaning you have to get hints and buy answers with your points to get the correct input, but overall it's manageable. The instructor does a great job explaining the material and makes it as clear as possible.

nice course ;) I love this way to teach! It's very simple and funny. I just miss something, English subtitles in the videos, because I'm spanish native and I feel more confortable if I also can read the teaching. For the rest, all ok. Thank You very much!

Fantastic! Easiest and fastest I've ever learned any programming before. I enjoyed the videos, humor, and jingles. Kept me entertained, and the learning stuck with me mostly. I look forward to taking other courses from Codeschool. Thank you very much guys.

Truly a beginner level. This covers the language basics. Thank goodness for the view speed options. Listened to most of this at 2x speed. I'm going through these courses to make sure I'm not missing new developments in tools or tricks, but this and Part 1 are just about the language itself. Looking forward to more intermediate and advanced courses. By the way, if you *are* a beginner, the production quality of the course material is awesome and fun. Definitely recommend for rank beginners.

Excellent. I knew basic Javascript, but the way the teacher teaches is so good that I watched the videos and the presentations without getting bored. It's awesome all the platform to learn by doing. There is no way you dont like javascript if you have such a good teacher.

Excellent - entertaining and brilliant. Loved the course. As someone who is new to java script I found it well laid out and brilliant. I truly enjoyed it and cannot wait to learn more.

The video explanations are very clear and they can be easily understand by beginners! It might be useful to introduce switch statement however. From my part, I really enjoyed it :)

very good. Enjoyable overview of the basics. Very useful and an enjoyable way to brush up on the language, with challenges that were just challenging enough.

Great Workout For Folks with some experience. I like the general format of the courses. This course in particular had some challenging areas(which is nice as it can be seen as a precursor to real world problems) but they were doable. Overall this course will help to build a person's confidence especially for those who have had some familiarity with JavaScript.

Twas good! I have really been enjoying these road trip courses with JS, it has really helped me learn quickly. I would like to see some extra side challenges if there haven't been any added already to help improve speed and accuracy when coding, the format of typing is a bit different than what I do standard and I am still getting used using some of these keys I don't normally touch so I have to often stop and double back to make sure I get some of those characters in which I often forget about such as the semicolons. Nothing fancy just something simple to start like a timed challenge to type out something already written out.

I finally get javascript! This was a fantastic course! I've been trying to learn javascript for a long time and could never quite grasp the concepts. The pacing of this course is great, because it allowed me to immediately practice what I'd just learned. I don't have the best attention span so the short videos worked really well for me.

I had a great time. I had a fun and educating time while riding the RTP2 here. I already knew some of the stuff, but it was a great reinforcement, and I also learned a few new tricks. Thanks very much!

Overall - Very Good! I enjoyed this course and learned a lot. I have experience programming and found the courses very easy to understand. The only complaint is that sometimes the challenges freeze up and I have to refresh the page.

Enjoyed the ride! I find the pace of the course content great because I can breeze though the stuff I already know quite quickly, while it serves as a good refresher to the basic concepts. This allows me to focus on the content that is new to me.

Enjoyed array lessons. Just a heads up though, I noticed that when I tried to enter the code (and it was correct!), the program kept telling me that I was incorrect with my submission. It got to the point where I couldn't get it to work that I just accepted/applied the answer. That's happened in other courses as well. It seems it happens when I am heavily editing the code, i.e., making a lot of changes all over the place. Anyway, much fun. Thnx.

Nice Road Trip! Thought it was a great course. I really enjoy learning with video instruction, practice problems, and PDF slides to reference. There were a couple times I logged correct statements that returned errors so I had to check the answer for how they coded it. That was a bit annoying, but it was interesting to compare code. Overall I am feeling much more confident with Javascript which was my goal!!

Good enough! Very cool course, nothing to say... Jason explains things very clearly. I have to say that sometimes it's a bit complicated to understand to description of the exercises, but, it still pretty good and cool to learn. To finish all the chapter, I also learned from the Mozilla Developer Javascript Guide, which is a must, as this course is. Thanks Jason and thanks Code School !

Great course. Hi, Just wanted to send a quick review saying that this was a great course. Some basics and some more complex things, which are applicable elsewhere. One minor note worth mentioning, is that I got tripped up on super exact text fields a couple times and had to use my answer hint just to find my mistake was a missing " " or small text typo. I like the flexibility on whether the function works within the coding part, but the exactness of the text part caught me up. Apart from that, great work.

That was very helpful! One thing that got me very happy was to see how you guys use somewhat "real" examples during the teaching, like the TrainsPassagers, for instance. It really helped me understaing the concept of this thing. Congratulations, and thanks!

The repeated intro's in the video portions are really unwanted. A++ for Jason Millhouse easy to understand. I found it very informative when you are outlining pseudo-code during the instructional portion, it should carry over into the challenges. There were 2 or 3 challenges that were not very clear to me what I needed to do. I'm stuck trying to comprehend the task, where I felt if it were laid out in pseudo-code I would understand what you are asking me to do in code form. Also in the last video of JavaScript Road Trip Part 2, 5.8 Searching Arrays: Building a passenger list appx: 6:34 into the video. You demonstrate in pseudo-code: function of addPassenger ("passenger's name", "array of passnegers") Then in code you show: function of addPassenger ("name", "list") How do you call the function? addPassenger ("MadMax", ?????); I think a brief example to explain this would have been good too. To show how it all comes together.

Best tutorials i've learned from so far! I've been to many programming tutorial sites, and many of them are very good... but so far, codeschool.com has tutorials that are easiest to understand, with the best progressive layout. The format of "video then challenges" really does the trick. I just completed the JS Road-Trip part 1 & 2, and it really helped me to understand a few of the fundamentals of JS that i just couldn't quite grasp by reading though pages & pages of written tutorial. The content is explained very well and I give it a rating of 5 for sure! hope to see more tutorials and projects
