Awesome course. I think there's a shortage of Pattern/Best Practice courses out there. Everybody can make an app from a tutorial but we all know it soon gets more complex than a sample twitter app. Highly recommend!

CodeSchool has done a tremendous job at highlighting all core differences and patterns necessary for Rails 4 development. I'm on the verge of starting development on my first Rails 4 application, and going through both the Rails 4 courses will allow me to take advantage of the new tools that are now at my disposal. Thanks for another tremendous course!

This course is a good tool for someone who wants to write a clear and maintenable code. Decorators will definetly make life easier compared to the old view helpers. Great job guys !

I really liked this one, dedicated to people which already knows and work daily with Ruby. Finally i have found solutions and interesting ideas to solve some "bad practices" which affect my work every day. I hope there will be a "part 2" soon, maybe about presenters, observers, engines and so on. thank you

This is a well thought out course and I would consider it being a followup to the Rails Best Practices course which focuses on the Rails 4 specific features. If you're ready to level up and take your Rails skill set up a notch, I would highly recommend taking this course because I have had so many OMG moments throughout the course that I'll be applying this material immediately on existing codebases. Thanks again for a course well done.

This is a great course! I've specially liked the Concerns, Decorators and Serializers parts because they helped me demystify what I thought they were and what they really are. Really good course for the Rails developer that wants to jump into Rails 4!

I really enjoyed this course. I find Carlos' style to be very easy to understand. This is really good information to get your Rails web apps from decent to rock solid in a production environment. Good stuff! BTW - love the bloopers right after each video. :)

Nice coverage of material - it supplements those tutorials with an introduction to techniques that I've not seen elsewhere. Having completed the course, I feel like I know where to go next to build more sophisticated and robust Rails apps.

Thank you for a yet another amazing course. Hope to see more from Carlos on going deeper into Rails functionality and maybe a course on integrating Rails with Angular. Very few websites have comprehensive courses on this subject.

This course is very structured, clear and informative. Thank you very much for making so excellent courses. Question: Why not a real app that uses those patterns? I prefer using real apps with ...(courses you provide)

Your courses are getting better and better :) This one is particularly good. it covers a whole bunch of things that I'd kinda heard other developers talking about decorators, and concerns and so forth... and they gave me a vague outline of what they mean, but not really... so I sort of thought I knew what they were, but wasn't sure. but now I have a good handle on what they are, why and how they'd be used. Thanks a bunch :)

I have been wondering some similar things (problems) before as I started to use Rails framework. Now these episodes provide a very confirmative solutions to solve those problems for me. It not only taught me how to use the framework properly but also to stick to good design pattern practice in OO-programming ! Good stuff !

This course really solidified decorators for me, and the Concerns explanations I found most helpful! I was glad to have the concrete application of them explained.
