This course is very useful to enrich your knowledge about AIDS or even to introduce you to this disease and all of the social factors that are involved in it. I highly recommend it to everybody that has the time and the motivation to do it.

I had little to medium knowledge of AIDS issues prior to signing for this course which was why I quickly signed into it as soon as I was introduced to coursera by a colleague. The course is getting close to ending and I must confess that it has been quite illuminating, exciting and informative. It has created a radical change of attitude in me between the way I used to view the epidemic and the way I perceive it now. Of particular importance is the attitudinal change it has brought in me concerning my perception of people afflicted with the syndrome. The time spent on the course is a time well spent, the effort worthwhile and the experience, a voyage into illumination. I must not fail to mention the instructors, and I have just two words to describe them; wonderful and extraordinary.
