I am a medical student. Completed this course to brush up my knowledge about this topic. The course is well organized. Topics have been discussed well. Studies have been quoted wherever necessary. Moreover it does not take too much time. Sparing 2 hours per week is sufficient. Recommended for everyone including non-professionals ! Actually, I have read this topic from a few textbooks. None of them covered it as exhaustively as Prof. Abella.

I took this course after just taking a first aid course where I learned to do CPR. This course taught me why we do CPR the way we do, what things make CPR good or bad and what happens in the hospital after someone is revived. The material was stuff I had never seen before and it was completely fascinating. The material was presented clearly and lectures were engaging and interesting. I would recommend this course without reservation to anyone interested in the area.

Very accessible and informative course for the general public and i highly recommend it as you never know if you could help save someone's life in the future. Lectures were very clear and well-presented and had a good pace. It was great to see how medical science is working hard to improve the odds of survival for someone who has a cardiac arrest. The overview of the cutting edge approaches were fascinating.

I have taken a lot of courses so far for my own benefit. This is the only course that i took for the benefit of others.Great course from a great instructor. It was easy,it was simple,it teachs life-saving things. It maybe have some details that are probably more helpful for meds but everyone must take this course. The professor was very good and i really loved his disclaimer on the start of the course.I have never seen a course with familiar subject so it is kind of unique.

The course is awesome. Bio was never really my liked subject but still i loved this course. I have taken 8 courses on corsera in computer, math, physics and chem but of all the courses i loved this the most. I always watched all the videos on the day they were released. after finishing the final week today, i feel sad that this course wont continue. this course gave me a lot. it helped generated interest in me for biology and studying more about cardiac arrest. my performance in bio class has improved and i topped the previous three tests. i would once again like to thank you for such a wonderful course and i will always be looking forward to another course from you. LOVE IT!! :) :)

Great presentations, with statistics and latest researches on the subject. Professor is very enlightening, even I know nothing for those medical situations. I am very pleased for taking this course, I have already learned a lot! I wish to see more like this course in coursera.
