This course was great. The lectures were videos of an actual class room with student interaction, so it felt a lot like you right there in the lecture hall. Professor Green is well versed and up to date in the topic matter. He presented the material in clear manor, using many relevant examples from current start-ups that many of us are familiar with. This course took quite a bit of time compared to others, mainly because of the amount video lectures hours per week. But they were all relevant for the most part and you have to option to speed them up if you want to.

Took it two years ago and was one of the best decisions ever. It gave me the elements to start planning (and hopefully in the next few months starting) my first business. Lessons were very attractive, clear and dynamic. Couldn't ask for more in my first approach to Entrepreneurship as a College student.

The course was perfectly structured and it's development was easy to follow and understand. It starts from the bottom building the content which helps to learn it faster and in an easier way. It also gives you insights on how other businesses started or how they work today. It also helps you to build and structure your workflow when confronting a new opportunity and how to manage yourself without making the typical mistakes. The instructor was clear, inviting and felt very solid on his field. Though Coursera can be a tough channel since there is no human contact involved, it was done in such a way that you don't even feel the lack of it. I would like to thank everyone involved in this. It was really fun and enlightening experience. Also inspiring me further to pursue my goals.

James Green has created an excellent introductory course to Entrepreneurship that gets students thinking. I am halfway through the class and am anxious to learn more about how I can put my ideas into action as well as avoid previous mistakes. The materials are easily understood and Coursera provides an excellent format for presentation and interaction. A worthwhile experience. The knowledge and skills taught can be applied to any venture.

In preparation for my entrepreneurship coupled with recent challenges in the business world, I believe that my enrollment and full participation in this course would expose and unravel my distinctive burning business ideas, how to identify them, how to cultivate them and eventually realizing the ideas. I have no regret in my first 2 weeks of the modules and I have introduced three of my colleagues to the course. I do hope to enroll for a similar course by the tutor or the same institution in the future.

I was a bit sceptical, but after all - I am really excited. Great foundation of the entrepreneurship I missed before. I'd recommend this course junior entrepreneurs, startupers and those who are already entrepreneurs but haven't learned subject before (like me).

Entrepreneurship is something you cannot achieve just by learning. And it is an important course because it provides you with the knowledge to avoid failing and with strategical ways to succeed. The content sufficiently manages to explore all important aspects of entrepreneurship. I really like Dr. Green's teaching style. The studio and class videos provide an extra dimension to the online teaching experience. I shall sign up for the second step in Entrepreneurship as soon as its available. Thank you Dr. Green and Coursera for making this amazing experience available to everyone.

This course was great, it gave a good opportunity to learn and do personal business evaluation! I have thought about dabbling in a second career and this course has helped me to realize more about what my fears are and how to address legitimate concerns. I really liked that the videos were videos from an actual class. It made me feel that I was part of the class. The content gave me numerous ideas on how to start a business and set it up in the most profitable way.Thank you!

Really good course. Good exposure to someone who is new to entrepreneurship. I worked somewhat in a start up company. This course covered quite a bit of what I had done on the job. The instructor also did a great job organizing the course. The material was easy to learn.

This was my first MOOC on entrepreneurship and a great first step since Dr. Green is a great teacher and knows how to give a lot of practical examples from small bakeries to global holdings. The course gives you all the knowledge to do a decent analysis of your business idea and the market it should take place in. In the end I was definetely eager to broaden my knowledge and take further courses from Dr. Green and on entrenpreneurship.

A lot less impressive than I expected (given all the great reviews). There is a lot of good, checklist-style content within the course, which is tested by quizzes, but to my knowledge that's not what entrepreneurship is about. Green drops example after example of start-ups that made it throughout the course, but to me this is very outcomes-focused. Instead, I think it would have been better if Green covered the -processes- of innovation and entrepreneurship, for example teaching ways of thinking, or design as a process. Entrepreneurship is an art, not a science, but it is very much taught as if it were a science throughout the course. I also agree with other commenters that there is nothing innovative about this course or the way it's delivered. In short, Green does not practice what he preaches.

I had the pleasure to participate in the course Developing Innovative Ideas for New Companies and I can only recommend participating in this course. Professor Green explain things in an easy to understand way, gives lot of real life examples and provides the student with very useful tools and methods. Moreover, these tools are not limited to start-ups but can be applied to any organization that needs to rethink and realign its business model.

Truthfully wasn't sure, had hoped to find a fresh look at looking at start ups and ideas. The course was excellent in cover a large range of points and obstacles that new start ups don't always consider. A great course and would recommend it hands down! DF

I expected nothing because I knew nothing about subject. Though, it was very helpful to me. I understand the course subject, it means if someone knew nothing about topic, he or she shouldn't hesitate to take this course because instructor and lectures are very useful for who knows nothing. I like the content generally but the slides are larger than the class-video on the screen. It sometimes annoys watchers.

I'm expecting to learn the ways of thinking needed to better execute the first stages of a business venture, analyzing the ideas to determine if they're worth a venture. The course is very recent taking examples from new success stories (i.e. Elon Musk entrepreneurial history and others), way more than I expected.
