Very complete course about Pivot Tables, Pivot Charts, Data models and Visualization. It is a good complement if you already have some knowledge of Excel (tables, formulas). If not, maybe I would recommend taking one introduction course before (for example, Data Analysis: Take it to the MAX(), from DelftX University, provided also in edX, quite good).

The content of the course was good, it was what they promised to deliver and they did. A good amount of practice is required in order to finish the labs and some of the quizzes, which is good as this are hands-on skills that require practice. The instructor leaves some mixed feelings as he clearly is really knowledgeable about the topic and seems like a great person, nevertheless his manner of speech is a little unclear as he sometimes uses words that don't really have to do with what he is talking about, and ultimately he does not convey the kind of inspiration the best professors ignite in their students. Overall it is a great course, specially if it is taken in sequence after the other courses related to it, as it cannot be taken without some previous knowledge in the subject.

Great way to try some hands-on Analysis and playing with Excel advanced tools such as Pivot Tables and Pivot Charts, the Excel Data Model, DAX Language (with some MDX references) and a peak into Power BI capabilities. I recommend this course.

Even a seasoned Excel professional can learn a few things from this course. I enjoyed it. However, now I have to write feedback on it, and apparently have to leave a minimum number of characters in this feedback form to leave feedback. It seems kinda silly, and a great way to reduce # of feedback responses. Anyway, course Recommended!

The Videos were a low resolution which meant that whenever I had to read equations that Dany was typing or follow the mouse it was very hard to see. The issues with the lap environment made this course almost unbearable. I had so many problems getting all the features of Excel to work for me (for eg. power pivot add in would often not load in excel and I had to restart the laptop - I only figured this out after hours of searching in google for a solution). And yes, I did read the lab environment instructions. Maybe in future set up a virtual lab environment that would negate all the issues students have with the version of excel. Finally, I thought Dany's method of instruction was very poor. Sometimes he would jump around and not explain things very well. Having his lecture as pretty much the ONLY learning material on the course is not effective. I got incredibly frustrated searching through the videos for one vague comment on ... I was very tempted to drop the course but I need it to continue the Microsoft Progam in Data Science. I hope that the rest of the courses in the program aren't this poorly produced.

Loved it. Got to learn how to make effective presentation of Data. The Data model was a complete new concept, i did the whole thing on Excel 2013 with a little bit here and there but it was awesome. The conversion to formulas of Pivot Table using OLAP was very interesting. The Instructor is terrific, as i have also done one more course taught by him in this X-series program, he explains everything in clear to understand language. Overall it was a wonderful learning experience.

Great content and Great Instructor. I have learned a lot from analyzing and visualizing data with excel. The content was organized very well as it will level you up gradually if you go with its sequence. Also examples are provided for all information given in the course. The instructor Mr. Dany Hoter is perfect. His voice and language are very clear. I want to thank him and Microsoft very much for this course.

This course really opened my eyes to the enhanced visualization techniques Excel has adopted over the years. I initially took the Edx course on PowerBI visualization and was pleasantly surprised to find many of the same data manipulation and presentation techniques available in Excel. It is very helpful for me to know that I can report on data where the rows exceed the Excel maximum >~1m. I highly recommend the course.
