Do you need a better understanding of how pivot tables, pivot charts and slicers work together, and help in creating dashboards? If so, check out DAT205x: Introduction to Data Analysis using Excel.

Very complete course about Pivot Tables, Pivot Charts, Data models and Visualization. It is a good complement if you already have some knowledge of Excel (tables, formulas). If not, maybe I would recommend taking one introduction course before (for example, Data Analysis: Take it to the MAX(), from DelftX University, provided also in edX, quite good).

The course is really interesting and fun to complete. It got a little complicated at some points but taking the first part of this course before helped. The instructor could not have been more competent , proves his knowledge at more than enough points and delivered all the content with great comprehension. The EdX platform was also easy to navigate.

Great course! One of the best online courses I've experience so far. The course slowly explains features and builds on them until you start using relatively advanced functionalities. The presenter was clear and he always kept my attention. Danny discussed some real world examples that I can immediately start using at my place of work. The reason why this course is so good, is because it manages to strike a fantastic balance between teaching theory, doing practicals and using real-world scenarios (headaches that I'm sure most of us have struggled with in the past). I wish I came across this course years ago.

The course was very good for me and I was able to immediately apply the information I learn to my work environment. Seeing data visualized differently can make a huge difference and have a greater impact on delivery. I would recommend this to anyone who constantly present information that requires greater analysis.

It was a really good course! I learnt a lot about Pivot Tables, import data from other programs, and also visualization of data. I recommend it! If you don't remember much about tables in Excel I would suggest first to do the Introduction Course in Excel about Visualizing Data. It's great too!

Thank you for this great course where I was able to brush up my knowledge on Excel and learnt new tools and techniques for data analysis and visualization using Data Models, Power Pivot and Power Queries. The course was very organized and easy to understand and the resources were really informative and helpful. Please keep up the great work! Thank you EDX and Mr. Dany and the Microsoft company for this great course where we not only gain knowledge but the lab trainings that helped us in gaining some analytical skills to use in real life. We would really appreciate if you can make the DAT207x course available so that we can learn about the Power BI and its uses in analysis and visualization of data. Thank you !

This is an excellent course, I found it really interesting and very complete. The explanations are very clear. I think it's a good complement for people who already have some knowledge of Excel. On the other hand, for those who don't have an advance level of Excel, I would recommend starting with another kind of course.

It would be more helpful, if the Course content provide instructions for excel 2010 and 2013 rather than using 2016. However i gained some knowledge which i never known about Excel.

I think the content should provide instructions for excel 2010 and 2013 because steps provided for excel 2016 does not necessarily mean 2010 and 2013 provide the same, hence users might not experience the proper and full course structure. Overall, I still gained new knowledge about Excel that I've never known.

It was pretty difficult to do the exercises because many times the information was not clear as well as the intructions and there were times I could not do the exercises needed because my computer had the 32-bit version and not the 64-bit version. The content is good but you should have basic knowledge on Excel before taking it.

The instructor did not explain what we were learning at the beginning of the lecture. He only summarized it at the end. Also, I had absolutely no way of completing the Lab in Module 4, not even with the extra guidance. I could not get past the firewall for the SQL server at all which seriously impacted my grade.

Course content gives good insights on Data Models, Pivot Tables, Pivot Charts, and Visualisation. The instructor explained it practically in Excel using hypothetical data from a company. I would recommend taking this course if you have basic knowledge in Excel as this will facilitate you in any kind of job role.
