Very complete course about Pivot Tables, Pivot Charts, Data models and Visualization. It is a good complement if you already have some knowledge of Excel (tables, formulas). If not, maybe I would recommend taking one introduction course before (for example, Data Analysis: Take it to the MAX(), from DelftX University, provided also in edX, quite good).

I am very happy and satisfied with the Analyzing and Visualizing Data with Excel course, I have done the Introduction to DA with Excel course before and felt very comfortable with Dany's teaching. I can start seeing the power of Data Analytics and this course has given good foundation to think in terms of Data, thanks to edX and Dany for his wonderful teaching. When Dany speaks I feel like one of my family member is explaining so patiently, like a father to a son, his style is unique. edX is such a revolutionary online platform that it is changing the fate and career if middle aged students like me, who never dreamt of learning such great material online, my sincere thanks to edX. Very complex course about Excel and Pivot function for no experience people. But it is a rich course, it could make me know more function about excel. Very useful function and it is like a magic if you know how to use it. After the course, we need take more exercise with it in case we forgot it. The course content is very rich, maybe we have better divided them into more small course. The course teacher is very good, if there is a classroom training, it will be more wonderful!

The course was a great overview of how to use Excel for data analysis. The flow was logical and the instructor was clear and easy to understand. One would require further practice and research to get deepen the skills learnt, but overall it covers the basics and is a great introduction. I only wish it had covered cube formulas a bit more. The section on it was a little too high-level.

It's a good course- but you'll encounter difficulty with the lab section if using older versions of Excel. I recommend taking the Introduction course first. Best of all was to me, the personality of the teacher.

the course content suits a novice in data analytics, surely an eye-opener, the instructor's communication throughout the course is benign, twill make it possible for anyone to learn. Also, i would thank Microsoft for establishing these programs, even though getting the certificate costs a lots due to currency values, yet they give one a leap in pursuit of a life-long career, thank you once again.

I completed the first course in the series (Introduction to Data Analysis using Excel) before completing this. I have to say that the first set my expectations very high. I have the general sensation that this second course is, in comparison with the first is an old course still made available with some patches and integrations; the sensation therefore is that it is a bit patchy, less structured, less organic. Sometimes (re: DAX, Cube, OLAP) functionalities are just hinted (or dropped on the way) without the possibility of grabbing the real potential. Oftentimes I had the sensation that the questions pointed in the quiz were not dealt with in the previous lectures. A couple of very specific problems pointed in the forum (not the overloaded ones) did not have answers. Finally, although I can't say I wasted my time (on the opposite), although I scored 96.5% I do not feel I mastered everything. All the same, Thank... Great next step if you have some experience working with Excel, as it dives further into the data model, functions/formulas, and visualization. The Power BI piece at the end isn't necessarily enough to be useful, but it's good to know how to connect data to Power BI.

The course was really nice and interesting. It provided me the knowledge that I did not know before, especially with the DEX language, the Power Query and Power BI. It was a bit ashamed because Excel 2016 on Mac OS could not provide the full utilities so I always have to use VMWare from my university to practice Excel. In sum, the course was nice with good practice.

Very interesting course. It helped me to use easily the Pivot tables and especially the Power query when importing a file (edit it before using it). The only problem encountered, was that I was using excel 2013 and it was a little bit difficult in the beginning to find where some options resided.

There were time when I had to stop the video and back it up a little so I could study what the instructor was doing. An eBook for the course would have been helpful also. I did have some difficulty getting a Cube function to work because in following the instructor he called out "Manufacturer" But as I was following along I was getting "ManufacturerID" in the same table.
