Do you need a better understanding of how pivot tables, pivot charts and slicers work together, and help in creating dashboards? If so, check out DAT205x: Introduction to Data Analysis using Excel.

This class is very helpful! I learned loads that I can take back to my job and actually use in real world situations. If you're going to take it (which I fully recommend), be sure to take notes! This course prepares you for going on and learning more with PowerBI and makes you eager to learn more about Data Science in general!

Honestly, I am not really satisfied. According to the objectives I thought that I will learn more and the content did not match the objectives. specially the first few modules. Power BI seems interesting but you did only advertise for the software rather than teaching. You should have mentioned that I won't be able to practice many of the modules because I am using a MacBook where I could not view many data sheets. Thus, I could not solve plenty of quizzes and I lost a lot of scores.

Very complete course about Pivot Tables, Pivot Charts, Data models and Visualization. It is a good complement if you already have some knowledge of Excel (tables, formulas). If not, maybe I would recommend taking one introduction course before (for example, Data Analysis: Take it to the MAX(), from DelftX University, provided also in edX, quite good).

Course content and provider is okay but as a beginner it was hard. Teaching beginners and student with knowledge i believe should have a different approach. Video seems to be a bit longer than excepted sometimes. It can be in bits

Excellent way to learn about Excel and its capabilities in reporting and doing analyzing. DEX is one of the powerful knowledge to have when working with Excel which will help in getting more advanced calculation in pivot. The way the course is structured is not very intense which learners will be able to take it on the weekends or after work and still finish the course with ease.

Wow...this course reveals that how powerful Excel is becoming with amazing features. There are other software for business data analysis but Excel is going to be here for long. The power pivot, power view features in Excel and Power BI has come at the time when Excel was pointed to have shortcoming to handle millions of rows of data. Course taught by MVPs are more interesting than folks from Microsoft itself. Thank you edx and instructor for your efforts.

Good course. I wish you'd allow auditors to take the quizzes and also give some values as correct answers to ensure my models and analysis were correct. Need a reasonable knowledge to begin- I was expecting a bit of a gentler introduction.

It was really interesting and it had a lot of information that was related to real-life problems especially when it comes to Dax formulas. Also, the instructor gave the information in a clear way and it was easy to understand but if you had already some prior knowledge otherwise would be a little bit difficult.

As someone looking to explore more advanced functions of Excel, this course provided me a sense of direction and exposure to several key topics without being overwhelming. I'd recommend to anyone who does a lot of reporting or is interested in learning more about data analysis without getting into heavy programming. Overall, very fun and useful course!

Probably ok if you do not pay for it. I have paid the price to have access to whole content of the course as well as to have the final certificate, but I am quite disappointed. This course is focus on showing what buttons to click in order to use really basic DAX, Pivots and Data Model, but in most of the modules it does not explain the reasoning of the software behind. For that price I would have expected that. On top of that it is much more enriching to have this type of course with two instructors having discussions rather than only one presenting (see the one on Transact SQL as example)
