This class is really interesting to discover the broad options that Excel can provide you. You would not learn how to create reports but how to interpret it.

Danny Hoter knows his stuff about the excel environment. This course should be thought best as a intro to excel queries, with a virtual instructor to show you the different advanced functions that are available. You got to remember that Bibles are written about this stuff, and you can get lost in the sea of knowledge. This course touches on data model, queries, measures, and data visualizations which is the next step towards true power computing. This class would be better if an accompanying pdf was provided with resources provided by module. Not requesting a book, but a 5-10 pg pdf of resources where student could jump off the excel cliff with another point of references as the next steps are Cube functions, Data layout, vba functions DAX architecture.

The course provides a great introduction to queries, the excel data model and visualizations. It would be nice to have labs where all of this knowledge is applied to answer questions. Exercises similar to the last lab, but with the starting point being a collection of raw data, and maybe some snapshots and links to reference articles at most as hints. I feel like there needs to be a bit more room for experimentation and collaboration.

Course content is very useful for some one who is using excel for analysis & visualization. Course content was good. One suggestion would be to provide more lab exercises to ensure we become more thorough.

Excellent content and provision. The instructor was the best i have ever had in all the online courses i have pursued. The course was very educative and i request that you continue to do the same in every other module you provide. I also request that you prepare a course on excel functions and applicability independent of any other course. It will be very important for us. thank you

The instructor is exceptional and the content is great. However, I have Excel 2019, and couldn't do the lab in Module 4 very well using Excel 2016 instructions in the lab. Also, Module 5 lab ( the DAX functions lab) was impossible to do with Excel 2019, hence, I couldn't do Lab 7

Overall a very strong course for those looking to get familiar with Excel's capabilities of Analyzing and Visualizing data. There were a few sections that were pure informational and no hands on learning but given the purpose of the course overall it met the objectives and the best part its FREE!!!!

The content, explanations and labs are detailed and well drafted in a way a layman could understand. As for the delivery goes, I think the instructor is not so good at communicating his expert knowledge. It was more of a dull presentation.

Good course that has radically improved my understanding of PowerPivot and Query editor within Excel and hence my overall understanding of the capabilities of Excel. The course instructor was clearly very knowledgeable and was so kind to often explain multiple ways to get to the same result. The only feedback I could give is that the instructor occassionally had some long breaks in his speaking, spoke in convoluted sentences or was surprised by one of his actions. Perhaps he could still work on improving his delivery. His voice was pleasant to listen to and he made a positive impression overall though.

Great course for beginner in PowerBi and Data models. Expand my knowledge for data queries, reports, dashboards. Also, the course is also practical with practices in real excel files to convert theories into life. The instructor made it very easy to understand.

I thoroughly enjoyed your course. The course content was very structured and it was well explained. The final module of the course was very interesting and knowledgeable as well as informative. Although the course was really nice but I wanted to upgrade to the verified certificate but the server was not accepting the payment. Otherwise I had a very good experience.

I thought the content and lab experiences were very useful to better understanding the functionality of Excel and applying it to realistic scenarios. The depth of detail about combing data from a variety of sources to conduct "data mashups" was very useful.

The content of the course was good, it was what they promised to deliver and they did. A good amount of practice is required in order to finish the labs and some of the quizzes, which is good as this are hands-on skills that require practice. The instructor leaves some mixed feelings as he clearly is really knowledgeable about the topic and seems like a great person, nevertheless his manner of speech is a little unclear as he sometimes uses words that don't really have to do with what he is talking about, and ultimately he does not convey the kind of inspiration the best professors ignite in their students. Overall it is a great course, specially if it is taken in sequence after the other courses related to it, as it cannot be taken without some previous knowledge in the subject.

Even a seasoned Excel professional can learn a few things from this course. I enjoyed it. However, now I have to write feedback on it, and apparently have to leave a minimum number of characters in this feedback form to leave feedback. It seems kinda silly, and a great way to reduce # of feedback responses. Anyway, course Recommended!

The Videos were a low resolution which meant that whenever I had to read equations that Dany was typing or follow the mouse it was very hard to see. The issues with the lap environment made this course almost unbearable. I had so many problems getting all the features of Excel to work for me (for eg. power pivot add in would often not load in excel and I had to restart the laptop - I only figured this out after hours of searching in google for a solution). And yes, I did read the lab environment instructions. Maybe in future set up a virtual lab environment that would negate all the issues students have with the version of excel. Finally, I thought Dany's method of instruction was very poor. Sometimes he would jump around and not explain things very well. Having his lecture as pretty much the ONLY learning material on the course is not effective. I got incredibly frustrated searching through the videos for one vague comment on ... I was very tempted to drop the course but I need it to continue the Microsoft Progam in Data Science. I hope that the rest of the courses in the program aren't this poorly produced.

Very complete course about Pivot Tables, Pivot Charts, Data models and Visualization. It is a good complement if you already have some knowledge of Excel (tables, formulas). If not, maybe I would recommend taking one introduction course before (for example, Data Analysis: Take it to the MAX(), from DelftX University, provided also in edX, quite good).

Loved it. Got to learn how to make effective presentation of Data. The Data model was a complete new concept, i did the whole thing on Excel 2013 with a little bit here and there but it was awesome. The conversion to formulas of Pivot Table using OLAP was very interesting. The Instructor is terrific, as i have also done one more course taught by him in this X-series program, he explains everything in clear to understand language. Overall it was a wonderful learning experience.
