Given I am working on Tableau, this is one of the course which helped me to pick up a BI tool very fast. Firstly the product is becoming excellent day by day and is really easy to use. Recommendation would be provide: 1. more reading and more and more example to try hands on may be on the Desktop version. 2. Create some case and then do the visualization to help bring the creative side of the though process of using the tool. 3. Very importantly cover more topics on data mining using DAX and visualization for exploratory analysis. 4. Integration of statistical analysis would be also helpful.

Excellent course, I liked that the contents were clear and orderly. Although there are some terms that inexperienced users may find difficult to understand, but in the end the goal is achieved. I liked that the videos could be translated into Spanish with the google extension.

Really good course, great introduction to using PowerBI and insight of the overall functionality. The main instructor does an excellent job conveying the topics and makes it easy to understand. The labs walk you through every step to get used to the software.

Incredible course and stunning delivery from the presenters especially Will Thompson. I took detailed notes and went through the Lab exercises. Not only has the course enhanced my knowledge of Excel Pivot tables, I also feel like an experienced user of PowerBI after one month of devoted study. Many thanks to the Microsoft PowerBI team.

Me ha parecido una muy buena opción si quieres iniciar a utilizar esta herramienta. Debes tener conocimientos de datos e incluso de programación para algunas unidades. El contenido le doy 4 estrellas porque en una de tienes que utilizar herramientas como silverlight que no están disponibles en la actualidad y no es posible realizar de la mejor manera los laboratorios. Este curso tiene mucha validez ya que tiene todo el soporte de Microsoft.

Sometimes the instructor speak too fast in topics difficult for people who don't have any experience, like DAX, API, etc This is my first time using power bi, the course is very useful, but I think when you have a question it needs another feedback no only the forum, I wrote 3 question and I didn’t received any answer. I think the lab 6 and 7 are not for people how never use power bi

+ Good coverage of relevant topics (w/o API and developer topics) + Valuable information regarding live connections also to Excel files in onedrive + easy understanding and doable without pausing the video o some example files differ from video content but still working - sometimes topics are repeated/ covered twice - Main instructur is outstanding, the others are okish

An extraordinary way to learn Powe BI. I really recommend it. It covers every aspect of the software and how to use it correctly. It goes from novice to intermediate. In my company we use a lot of data analysis and Power BI will become our tool for it.

I had no prior knowledge of the course. The content is so straight forward and concise. It is a very wonderful experience for me. The Instructors did a fantastic job, by always show you different ways of achieving a goal. Also, the way the Lab exercises was arranged is very useful for practice purposes. I highly recommend this course for everyone interested in Data Analysis. I started using it in some college classes. But, I needed some kind of certification. I figured out it does not exist! However, another option is available and I enjoyed this course. I liked the way most parts of the features were shown. I did not spend much time to create visualizations but just learning more about the numerous alternatives to use this powerful tool. Great. I highly recommend it.

Very useful and interesting course. Good examples and information for new users rather for medium level persons. The course content is well laid out, and the lab exercises and questions help a lot in refreshing what you've learnt in the lab. However, a more detailed explanation should be dedicated to Data Modelling Transformation (data mining using DAX and visualization). Yes without any doubt, the course has given me a solid foundation on Analyzing and Visualizing Data with Power BI, and I hope to build on that in future. Thank you!

The content is great for beginners, since it doesn´t go deep into data modeling or DAX usage and logic. The assignments are way too easy and don´t help improving nor analytics or modeling skills. Another downside is that PBI gets too many updates not reflected in the course It could provide more extra course resources to enhance understanding. Some of the content is redundant, either way it helped improove knowledge and it was useful.

Even though I never worked with Power BI before, it was not too difficult to follow the Lab exercises. One suggestion which could help students would be to have a video after each Lab demonstrating the final result. It would be great to have a new version of the course as this one is from 2015 and Power BI has changed a lot. Anyway now I need to find somewhere to continue working with it. I just loved it!!!
