What a great way to learn. I did not get time to do the lab work however I think this is an excellent way to embed knowledge. I did actually apply some of my learning to Power BI reports that I was doing in parallel so definitely learnt a lot.

The content was very helpful in providing me a better understanding of how to use the Power BI system. The course was well laid out and the labs provided fairly easy instructions to follow. Only knock on the course is that a few labs were out of date due to (I am assuming) Power BI updates since the course was updated. I was able to use the Power BI community to find resolutions to the issues though

This is my first MOOC ever and honestly I found this experience very enriching ! I was interested in Business Intelligence and I am very happy that Microsoft offered such an amazing opportunity ! Also, the course was not boring (short videos) and a lot of exercices. Only small drawback, some of the last modules (developers stuff) are a bit tough for beginners...

A good and well structured course. The labs could be more challenging and it would be nice to learn more DAX expressions and how to structure your data so that one could use Power BI to its full capacity, but it is an online course and naturally it has its restrictions. Nevertheless, I do feel ready for real life projects.

I have had less exposure to data visualization than I would have liked, so deciding to take this course to obtain an overview is probably one of the best decisions I made. I wasn't too focused on powerBI per se, but more interested in what such tools could do. This course is rich in content and well-structured, and I highly recommend it to everyone.

Wow, just an amazing course. I picked up easily because I already work with Excel & Tableau. But after taking this course, all of my questions/frustrations with Power BI were answered and solved. Highly recommend it.

I just completed the course. It was a good learning experience. The material needs to be updated and reviewed periodically by Microsoft to keep up with the market. Also, the content specific errors needs to be fixed as soon as it gets reported. E.g. I downloaded Power BI Pro as recommended in one of the labs still it didn't work which was very frustrating. I hope they revise so that I can revisit again. Overall, excellent course.

This course helped me to go through the Power BI with comfort, it shows me the keys which I need to move on with Business Intelligence. I like to have more courses for Power BI. Thanks Microsoft, I will continue with community and support from Power BI site to learn more about the subject.

Given that I am taking this course for work, I did it on my work computer. This was fine, other than when it asked me to download things like the Access tool. I (like most people) don't have admin privileges on my work laptop, so I was unable to download some pieces .exe elements without contacting my IT personnel, which slowed me down a bit. Other than the course was very helpful (though I didn't necessarily need the developer module).

This is the nice course on powerbi, it covers most of the thing in powerbi. I start as a beginner in powerbi but after this course i am able to make a dashboard with good functionality. Every beginner can go throw theses video so that he can learn powerbi in a effective way.

I have been working on Power Query and Power Pivot and this is a comprehensive and overall very good course. There's a huge potential behind. However, the last two modules could be done in 1 or split into other modules. You should also spend more time on relationships, it was too quick however this is critical.

The content is good in general, but some parts of the course could be updated. For example it was not possible to complete the sql azure part because the connector only works on the desktop. The introduction to building customized views is more advanced than the rest of the material in the course. Apart from these small issues the course is a great introduction to power bi.

I had a some prior experience with PowerBI and I was mainly interested in the certificate. But then, as I was doing the course, I found that it was rounding out my product knowledge. The Custom Visuals were a real suprise. The instructors did an excellent job in presenting the material, and all the content was easy to download and use. I found this course well worth the effort and it made me really appreciate the capabilities of PowerBI.

For the most part, it is a great introduction to Power BI Services environment. However, starting with Module 8 it feels like the content needed to be rushed. Creating Custom Visuals in the same module requires intermediate knowledge of C# and .NET. The speed the concepts introduced is not realistic considering the course is supposed to an introduction. In my opinion, Module 8 should be removed from the content. In addition, Module 9 is a rather repetition what it was said before in one of the previous modules. Again, it is not really necessary to have this module.

I have been working on Power BI for a few months. This course was excellent to remind me of some features I had read about but had not used. Although DAX wasn't covered in-depth, I found an appreciation for what DAX can do to provide deeper analysis. The format of the course is great as it teaches a little, quizzes you, then a lab ties it all together.

The course is really comprehensive - from sourcing and shaping data to reporting, dashboards, collaboration and customization. Content is a bit out of date, but that cannot be helped considering the rapid development of the product.

I learned a lot while taking this course, and would recommend for an absolute beginner. I wish there was more basics of DAX taught, as that is what I was hoping to learn as well. Will was a phenomenal instructor!

I started to use Power BI a couple of months ago and this course made me improve my work very fast. The pedagogical structure is very good. I miss more content about organizing visually the data.

The course is very good as content, however there are two problems, first is that the quizzes questions are sort of a check that the taker has went through the sections, where I think it should be more like the labs "Get this, do this......". Second Problem is that as Power BI gets a monthly update, the course should be updated more regularly, for example: couldn't finish Section 7 lab because Azure SQL server is only available in PBI Desktop while in the content it was based on Powerbi.com, and the connections mentioned are not working anymore.

Before I started this course I had no idea about POWER BI. Started the course from the scratch and the way this course has designed and presented made me understand every concept by myself without any issues. Well planned and designed course content, videos and Lab Exercises. If there are more exercises are added for REST API that would add more completeness to the course.

A well organized course to get an exhaustive introduction to a very good tool. The best part is that you have hand on the tool and so you can get to know well Power BI and its potential. I highly suggest to do all the exercies proposed.

Course content and structure good. I would flip to using an Azure DB like the T-SQL course and Access is not as common. I would provide the option of doing more DAX but not necessary for the course. The Excel rendering that uses Silverlight is getting flaky and not supported by Edge. I would rethink how to show this. The Enterprise Gateway seems to be the direction now Flow is in so I would use that one instead of personal gateway with examples of how to use when set up. Not clear to me still.

Great training, never used before and it is a great tool. My company is using 365 enviroment and I will use Power BI to share insights and visualizations. In the past I use Tableau but not sure if we will have budget to continue with the license and this solution has a better price. Thanks

I'm glad to have explored Power BI: it's a tool I probably would not have considered using if this hadn't been an option for the data science professional degree curriculum. I think I would need to return to the curriculum if I try to use it for real-time visualizations of hosted data in the future, but the basics felt intuitive after seeing the examples. (The labs were very helpful with that.)

I took this course for the Microsoft Professional Degree in Data Science curriculum. Prior to taking the course, I had worked with Power BI for over a year. I still learned some things. Due to the pace of Power BI's development, some of the detailed content was stale and needed to be updated (SSAS Connector reference, etc.), but overall a great course.
