Excellent course, Will's presentation style is relaxed, engaging and easy to follow with a focus on working through the material in a logical fashion. If you haven't used PowerBI before, by the time you've completed all of the labs, you'll be very familiar with the various aspects of PowerBI. Highly recommended.

Content for the most part were really good. Unfortunately some of the online services sections were not covered in as much details as other features. Also some prior knowledge of DAX would have been helpful before doing the course.and Instructors. Instructors were good really presenting / communicating these modules.

From a guy who knew absolutely nothing about powerbi before doing this course, I found it incredibily informative and enjoyable. The pace is great, the content is relevant, and the labs are worthwhile. Recommend this course for sure.

Very good course with a lot of great information. Although PowerBI seems simple and easy to use, it is not easy to get started with it. This course addresses this issue very well and allows those who want to learn more to dive as deeply as they want. However, I missed the chance to pay and get certificate. I think the opportunity should be open as long as the course is open. I went out of town for a few weeks and had to take several modules in a short period of time before the course time ended, but I missed the chance to pay and get my certificate, which is very unfortunate.

Enthusiastic presenters really made it fun to learn. Quizzes aren't very helpful, but labs are fantastic for getting guided hands-on experience. It's really just an intro to Power BI, but gives you broad exposure to the capabilities & offers suggestions on where to look for additional info. There's a lot crammed into the first 4 modules so it takes longer to go through those.

Great course for introduction into PowerBI. The course is well organized with great lecturers. The labs are well prepared and reflects the problems I am facing while using PowerBI. I do recommend this course to anyone who is starting to use PowerBI and needs an overview of all its features.

Informative, well constructed learning modules. I should have turned off phone, emails etc. Not doing so took me longer to complete the course and I got questions wrong which I knew the correct answers too. Course completion was well worth the effort.

Power BI is an awesome product, but the course felt more like a long "infomercial" rather than a real course. The quiz questions are mostly obvious, and some of the labs are too basic to be instructive. I would classify this as a basic introduction to Power BI, but you still need to search the web for solutions to harder problems.

I really enjoyed this course! I gained a lot from it and have been able to apply it to my daily work. I recommend it highly to anyone who wants an introduction to PowerBI. Educationally, what I liked about this course was that the assessments were a combination of comprehension and practical exercises that required you to apply what is taught. This has the effect of providing feedback to you as a learner that you are absorbing the material. Did I mention that I really enjoyed the course? I did!

Excellent course providing valuable learnings with deep insights. The superior course is above what we would normally be able to find elsewhere (web, etc), with great videos, and exercises which are purposely challenging to gain deep understanding, and outstanding materials that have elevated my applicable skills. Thank you Will, Microsoft and edX. Chris Lira

This course was very great and very interesting. Because i already took the Analyzing and Visualizing Data with Excel course, many of the content was very accessible. In my opinion the module 8 is a very hight level and address a specific population but any way it was interesting to have it as khowleadges.

The presentations were well organized and reasonably paced I found the exercises of a much lower quality. Some questions seemed irrelevant, others unclear. Some of the labs simply didn't work. I am thinking particularly about connecting to the Azure SQL engine. I exercise/quizzes were a huge time sink and source of frustration but I don't think I learned much from them.

All together, an amazing introduction to a very promising product. I'm already using it at work to allow a smoothier acces to data to colleagues. I wished I had heard of this product sooner, and I am very glad to have followed this course.

Great course, really deepened my knowledge on PowerBI and bring out the best of what it has to offer. The content was very good and focused a lot on the various connectivity of sources of importing, creating and directly connecting to PowerBI as well as appreciating other mobile platforms. The detailed features are very welcome and helps me to explore the capabilities I wasn't aware of. For further course feedback I found the very short clips too onerous and would have preferred the small features combined together for less videos needing to cycle through. Overall, very happy with the course and content that will benefit me in my day to day.

I would encourage you to show students how to install power BI plug in in Excel create visualizations there. It wold be of great help. Other than that, amazing course, very knowledgeable instructors, nice flow of contents and extremely useful lab materials. There could also be a final homework/project that might help us.

This course was great. I've had years of working with Business Objects, but was struggling to get my head around Power BI after a few weeks of playing with it. This course has cleared up my confusion, and made me see it in a whole new light.

This was my first online self-paced course and it is very detailed and easily understandable. The Content and the Instructions are detailed and helpful for learning. I have started as beginner but now I am capable to work on this independently. Each and every feature of the Power BI is described in details and the Lab materials are described in details and enough to understand the steps properly.

Course Content This course covers most aspects of Power BI and as such is an invaluable learning resource. The examples were varied. THere were a few issues as well: to complete some labs you need to install Power BI Pro. What if you can't, as it was my case? You are easily stuck. Another point was some of the questions during the lesson: you had to have ready sharp eyes/ears to see/hear the answer of the following course question. One question had no hint whatsoever in the course (7-Direct connectivity - question 3 for example, where the video is actually even misleading). You get this in all online courses. Alltogether, this was an intereting course. Instructor Too many errr's and ehmmm's in my opinion. Will is a lively character, sometimes perhaps a bit much :-) All the gestures with hands and arms made me feel like onboard a ship in the midst of a storm. Accent really charming. Provider This course, like any other edX ... Course Content This course covers most aspects of Power BI and as such is an invaluable learning resource. The examples were varied. The course was very informative and had a lot of rich content uploaded from the source at Power BI. EdX has a reasonably good platform, but the administrator should be a little better about textual instructions--more than a few typos, some unclear language, and broken links. Fix those things and you'd be in great shape.
