I have a deep interest in the topic of indigenity and to evolve in response to that question of what exactly is indigenous was worth pondering. But surprisingly more than that it was 'Living within limits' unit that really left a mark. The experience of Cubans reusing plastic bags unintentionally leading to sustainability is one such takeaway. I would highly recommend this course across streams.

So much so that I am dropping the class partway through. I expected "cultural anthropology" and got a type of sociology class encompassing interviews with "cultural" anthropologists in various places. As an example, a whole lecture and test was on the value women in Cuba placed on their pressure cookers because they were so hard to replace. But, they still love their government (sounds more like political science than cultural anthropology). Giving two stars is a gift.
