Unfortunately, learners from Iran and Cuba will not be able to register for this course. While edX has received a licenses from the U.S. Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) to offer courses to learners from these countries, our licenses do not cover this course. EdX truly regrets that US sanctions prevent us from offering all of our courses to everyone, no matter where they live.

The course covers a nice range of topics, from linear models to classification to neural networks. The text and examples are very helpful to get the main idea of the different topics. The quizes and questions are very helpful in testing whether you have really understood. The exam as an overall test was extremely useful. Challenging but very useful. The videos are a nice introduction. Especially Jono and Lewis have a nice interaction with each other and the clearly show that the course can be a lot of fun. David delivers good video content in terms of information. However, it vould be somewhat more inspiring. Overall I am very satisfied with the course and certainly recommend beginning data scientists or experienced ones who which to refresh some topics to take this course.
