I have taken many MOOCs over the years. This MOOC is one of the best out there. Matt is a great teacher. His dedication is admirable. Anyone who wants to be good at public speaking should enroll in this course.

This is one of the best online courses I have ever taken. I have always enjoyed creating and giving presentations, but Matt had me completely rethink the way I structure and deliver public speeches. This course covers everything from short impromptu speeches (e.g. presenting in a meeting) all the way to full on persuasive speeches that can be delivered in a formal setting. Topics discussed include brainstorming and structuring presentations, creating and countering arguments, rhetoric, and the actual performance. You can do three optional homework assignments, which are basically filming yourself giving a speech. On these you will get feedback from two of your peers. Doing the homework helped me a lot, however the feedback I received was completely useless. But that's just about the only negative thing I can say about this otherwise awesome course.

Introduction to public speaking program is a very interesting program. I particularly enjoy. For many applications it into real life, makes me aware of what to do and how to write, how to speak, how to speak in public like it was a magnet for the audience. I thank the University of Washington and the collective of teachers, especially teachers Matt McGarrity was dedicated to help me complete this course. Again, I thank you and wish our Washington University will develop more strongly. There are many online courses over the Internet or more in order to create conditions for students like me can not afford to take the beautiful country of the United States for school teachers.
