The course was a joy ride. I learned a lot, especially the Case studies and live webinars. But since I've taken the course, I'll be critiquing it to a good extent: Status: Passed, with 83% Pros: - Learning form a very good professor, Mr. G. Shainesh - Learning from a world reputed institute, IIM Bangalore - Case studies offers meat to the course content. - Expert insights were a bonus, although more on that later! - Live webinars where you can ask questions to professor. - Quick Response from professor himself on Discussion forums. Cons: - The course title is misleading, it should be "Introduction to CRM" rather than "CRM" - Biggest disappointment was IIM level questions. I did a course from the same institute but in "Predictive analytics" and I was barely walking through the course, more like crawling, that course squeezed every neurons in my brain, it was the new high for me. - No practical project work, lik... I did a course from the same institute but in "Predictive analytics" and I was barely walking through the course, more like crawling, that course squeezed every neurons in my brain, it was the new high for me. - No practical project work, like take away Case study homework and later answer both qualitative and quantitative questions through Cases study specific Psets. - No eCRM based practical's like salesforce etc. Just a handout that barely even touches the basics. - This course need more quantitative questions based on CRM. - I am surprised, that no new trends or cutting edge research in CRM solutions in the current industry being practised were discussed, especially in Indian marketing industry context. Final thoughts: If you are thinking for a verified certificate, save yourself form spending 50 bucks, rather just audit the course and wait for the next course offering with new updated content and hopefully more IIM level questions, Take away Case studies with Case study specific questions and practical eCRM Lab exercise. Nevertheless, still the some theory can be applied to understand businesses which can utilize CRM as a solution to make better decisions.

The couse content was rich. The instructor demonstrated very high level of expertise in the delivery. The insights from the experts was the climax. Immediately after the course, I saw an advert from a telecom outfit for the position of "customer churn/retention specialist" and applied. I went for the interview yesterday and I brought to the table a lot of things I learnt from this course. Thank you EDX.

I really enjoyed the entire course. Prof. Shainesh really explains the concepts very well and made the learning process a joyful experience. What i liked the most were the "Expert insights" sections were they interviewed professionals in the field of CRM. Regarding to the content itself, it was structured in an excelent way and the concepts covered were explained in detail. I have taken multiple MOOCS and I can say this is one of the best courses I have taken, if not the best. edX´s platform is easy to use. Congratulations to the whole course team for creating this amazing experience for all of us. Looking fordward to taking more of your courses. Best regards

Initially I was apprehensive in taking an online course simply because I am accostomed to conventional methods of teaching/learning. But after enrolling here I have no doubt that this is an excellent course in terms of content which is easy to grasp and can be applied in all service sectors, the instructors Prof. Shainesh is very spontaneous and lucid so it is easy to follow and remember what he teaches and lastly the provider, the platform is makes it user friendly, they give you regular updates, you can start from where you have stopped etc. All in all I enjoyed all throughout.. Thank you once again.

This Course is really helped not only just to understand about CRM as function in any company that follow but also helps to understand how CRM is linked with other functions like, Finance,HR ,IT and how CRM is Centerpice in entire company Growth/Sustaining Market share Perspective in respective Industry ,Though better Case studies and interactions covered from Indian Market perspective , it would have been nice if covered Gloabal Case studies with respective to Region Specefic Like North America, EMEA, APAC but given the time schdule whatever covered Industry insights and talks with respecive business team also very much impressive. The course is helpful. It would be better to capture more worldwide case studies. Also, the exercise could be more fun to not only testing on vocab, but some simple math report. Afterall, it can be applied at work as long as the content could be enhanced with scenario studies.

Good course. Valuable for both - beginners are professionals with some experience in CRM. For the latter it helps to structure what you may have done but don't know it in terms of theory and how it relates to other concepts. A structured course that will help to structure your mind.

Taking up this course was an amazing learning experience and I always used to look forward to getting back home and logging in. Instructor made the entire concept of CRM very easy to understand. Interviews were interesting. I just have one small suggestion and that is the locations chosen for making the videos can be changed from time to time as otherwise it becomes kind of monotonous. Overall, great experience and learning! Keenly looking forward to more sessions from Professor.

The course content is perfect, instructor is excellent but the provider's platform for grading is faulty. go back and review the grading platform you will see that it has 5 GA therefore the total score takes the average with n=5 whereas we have just 4 GA. Therefore i call on IIMBx to review this so as not to affect its credibility.
