But this course filled in some gaps. I think this course sets a great foundational knowledge in the cybersecurity field. In my opinion both beginners and professionals can benefit from this course. I strongly recommend it!

As a Professor of Computer Engineering at City Univ. of New York, my areas of focus aren't cybersecurity, but hardware, small board computers, microcontrollers, C/C++, and Linux. So, I was eager to explore a technical arena that I've not personally studied or taught. RIT/Edx's Cybersecurity Fundamentals was a very enjoyable course with excellent, clear, and enthusiastic instruction from a professor with strong expertise in the subject. It feels like an excellent jumping off point for now diving deeper into the subject.
