It always seems a hard nut to crack to me when someone ask me to write a CV for him/her. Actually despite having Graduate Degree I find it hard to make an effective CV even for my own purpose. So, having this course at my disposal I feel better. I want to pay my gratitude to edx team and course presenters for their nice efforts.

I really enjoyed this course. The course content was excellent and well organised. The videos and the materials were all to a very high standard. The course helped us to get an insight into how to prepare a job application - what the employers are actually looking for. The presenters are very professional and knowledgeable. The exercises given at the end of each week helped to brush our knowledge further. Our knowledge of grammar was enriched. We learnt many collocations also.

"English @ Work in Asia - Job Applications" has been a wonderful learning experience for me. Videos and instructions were well framed, and the entire course was systematically delivered. Both the instructors - Bee and Jessica were also very focused and professional in their approach. This will definitely be a useful MOOC for any professional - from fresh job seeker to senior executive.

Even though I did not manage to finish the course, I enjoyed the course very much. I had a nice discussion with my fellow classmates. Some of them did give very insightful comments. The course videos are very useful, and I actually watched them all.

I feel this course is an excellent opportunity for both non-native and native speakers of English to learn from industry professionals and experienced English language teachers about how to ensure their CVs and cover letters make an impact and help ensure they get offered an interview. The learning materials are designed with the Asian workplace and Asian graduates clearly in focus – from the expertise provided by experienced practitioners from in a number of fields to the language support that helps non-native speakers express themselves clearly and accurately.

I enjoyed the course very much. The course content was excellent. The videos and the materials were all very useful. The course helped us to get an insight into how and what the interviewers expect from the candidates. The presenters were equally good. The exercises given at the end of each week helped to brush our knowledge further. Our knowledge of grammar was enriched. We learnt many collocations also. The review helped us further to find out if we had missed out any course or not, which of course was a good attempt. I think all the students have benefited from this course. But unfortunately, I couldn't complete the course due to some network problems towards the end of the course. I am really feeling bad about it. I wish I could complete it. Any ways I am looking forward to the next part of this course. I take this opportunity to thank EDX for teaching me a lot that would be useful to my students also and would also like to tha... The course is very useful. You'll find some thing new in this course you've never known. It helps me a lot. My writing on CV and cover letter is getting better. Rechecking to some cover letters and CVs I have written before, I found some mistakes that the course remarked. My new CV now has a new format and it looks modern, bright and polish. Thank you!
