Course Description

When designing systems that work for users, there is no substitute for watching them try to use the system to see what works and what doesn’t.

In this UX course, you will learn how to design and conduct tests with users that will tell you how effective your design is for helping users do what they need to do, and how they feel about using your system.

This course is part of the User Experience (UX) Research and Design MicroMasters Program offered by MichiganX.

This course is best for those who want to learn about UX but can't leave their job or places for further studies. Every minute of the lecture video is knowledgeable. The course is highly refined. I agree that the final assignment is very lengthy but it will brush your whole course. I will advice that instead of finishing it quickly, revise all chapters patiently while doing your final assignment. Remember guys, no pain no gains. Lastly, yes there was bit delay in my final score as sufficient peers review was not received but the whole edx team is very supportive. They understand my concern and staff personally checked my assignment and gave me my final grades.

Be aware for the final project you will require at least 14 hours. Notation is a lottery no control is performed by the staff, depending on your cours peers

Interesting and useful course content, but be prepared for a MONSTER final project. It is a valuable experience, but cannot be accomplished in the 3-4 hours per week as advertised in the outline for the course.
