For someone who do not have any background on Architecture and the cause and effect that affects our everyday life. I think this is a very interesting course which will provide you with not just basic knowledge and concepts but it allows you to think and see the difference on the overall city. Would be interesting and nice if we were able to visit the lab in Singapore.

Unfortunately, having done the whole course, it seemed like a plot to get others to study at ETH Zurich and/or crowdsource information from 'students' for their own research. Their teaching style was quite lazy, where there was very little critical thinking and mostly just rote memorisation, akin to a past style of teaching that sorely misses the target of the modern way of teaching. One question that really hit my nerve was "Building electricity storage is a topic of research since?". A very pointless question that offers no utility to someone who wanted to learn how they could impact their city. They did an okay job diversifying my mind on certain ways of understanding city's, but it was always scratching the surface. Many links also didn't work, and the reading material was not accessible. edX should revise their policies on how universities should use their platform, which is to teach others to know how to take action, rather than be a university's guinea pig.
