Amazing course. Highly insightful, thought-provoking and practical with bite-sized content delivered in a very interesting and effective manner with lots of examples and references. I've never looked at news this way before and the way I consume news is forever changed after this course. It has made me appreciate the work journalists do and also to reflect upon the responsibility that news consumers have. In fact the methods and guidelines taught in this course extend well beyond news consumption. They are applicable to any information process. Thanks very much to Masato, Anne and everyone else who have made this possible.

The Course was very interesting and made me rethink a lot of my ways of reading and understanding the news fully. The videos were well presented and explanations clear. The pace was good too. Prof. Masato transmitted a lot of enthusiasm and also personally participated in the forums along with his staff. I would recommend the course to everyone. My thanks go to Prof. Masato, the other staff and students who also helped to make the course interesting with their questions and explanations.

With social media being such a common part in everyone's life. This course is a must for each and every one of us. The peer review system is unique and quite and innovative way to grade students and also helps us see what are the opinions of others about our work.

Language used was very understandable, even for those who do not have formal news background. I found the lessons explained very well and they made me realize a lot of things. I actually like learning these kinds of topics because they help me become more analytical when being on the receiving end of news. Lengths of the lessons were okay, so that even if I enrolled late and had no commitment to finish the course, I still was able to catch up and finish it. In my spare time I will go over more of the discussion forums, as I know I will learn from them too. Thank you very much to our Masato and Anne for a job well done!
