That was very good course. Sometimes a bit boring with long solid description but it was OK. I really encourage others to take this course. Thank you very much.

Excellent course, did not have any experience in HTML and gave me what I expected from him, basic tools and sufficient knowledge to start in this section, I would like to continue learning and i will possibly continue to the next course, unfortunately the situation in my country me prevents access to the certificate because for economic and political reasons we have a change control which makes it impossible to access currencies to pay the amount of the course, which on the other hand currently represents about six months of salary

From a total rookie to a beginner and aspiring front-end web developer, this course helped a lot. It provided the basics of HTML5 and CSS3 in ways that I could remember it. The videos really helped me understand the course' contents. The instructors were really clear on their instructions and on how to do the coding. To everyone who wants to take this course, always remember that it is really important to go through all the activities so that you can put your learning to use. Happy coding!

I had no background at all in html or css and I can build a pretty nice web page now. That's not to say there were not moments of frustration (mostly with the building tools) but overall this is a great course. I learned a lot! I have recommended it to my friends.

I took this course to update my web development knowledge, which was very out of date (dating back to the HTML 2 and 3 specifications). I thought, overall, that it was an excellent refresher, and probably accessible enough for people with no prior knowledge. My only criticism: I was not fond of the use of the XDK development environment. There wasn't anything terribly wrong with it, but it really seemed like overkill, particularly for a course being made available worldwide on a platform widely used in developing countries. I mean, it's 282MB, and Intel don't seem to publish the system requirements but people with slow platforms report it being unusable. It's just far more overhead than web programming requires. You can do the course without it, via Codepen and other tools, but that isn't really made clear at the point XDK is introduced.

For beginners its amazing way to learn a new skill,Difficulty level is very very easy, you can complete this in a week or less than that. Overall a nice experience.Taking Parts in discussions not recommended, keep practicing on your project. And you can skip installing intel sdk ,you can write your codes in notepad, intel sdk is very buggy and laggy software, half of the functions of intel sdk showed in course ain't work.

It was okay, but I couldn't finish the course. I like the course series that is on Youtube better. A lot of this course is focused on beginner information.

It's a wonderful course. The Explanations of all topics are really understandable. Anyone can take this course. It doesn't matter to be an absolute beginner, an experienced wed developer or whoever. You can still learn with this course.

It was a good course, but the choice of XDK was quite poor. I had numerous problems getting XDK to work. I noticed that it was based on brackets,, so I got that. Brackets is great!

Being an old time mainframe developer I wanted to pick up some HTML skills to help with building a website. I took this course and it gave me a great introduction to HTML and CSS. Friends told me you don't need to know HTML anymore as there are web builders which will do it all for you, but I found knowing what is going on behind the web pages is very beneficial. I would recommend this course to anyone looking to gain an understanding of HTML and CSS.

This course was actually beneficial to my budding career as a developer(I audited it). I knew HTML, but this HTML5 course takes you deeper into html and css, along with best practices. It was also nice to have a project to continue working on each week. However, more videos and instructor interaction would have been better. I still recommend the course for the information though.

"By the end of the course, you should understand all the fundamental elements – from headers and links to images and sidebars – and leave having built a basic framework for your own Web site. " - it's all true. I studied HTML+CSS before, but still I've learned something new. Totally satisfied.

I love this course. The simplicity of the language, explanations and examples used were very supportive of total beginner like me. I had no idea about web design before I started but now have successfully built a very beautiful site for one of my ideas. At first I didn't like the material being mostly text as I don't like reading much but in the end I realized it seem to be the most possible reason why I was able to digest the content. I am very excited I can now create very beautiful web pages - all from this course. Thanks!

The course was poorly designed and provided very basic material with too many "long winded" explanations and material. However, the examples when very poor and most things I learned from other sites as I was doing the assignments. The videos were boring and very amateurish with very little done in terms of the ongoing project. It seemed like the instructor was doing basic stuff and it never really progressed that well. There was poor feedback on the discussion boards and problems presented weren't supplied with an answer. We were given stuff without having had enough practice to complete the task. In addition, the staff allowed students to write in other languages other than English which kept other students from interacting or commenting on that student's posting. The staff should've put a stop to this early on. We were introduced to code pen and other tools such as the XDK kit (bloated pig of a program) without prior know...
