Excellent course. It didn't use too many esoteric concepts and kept it at a level even a layman like me could understand. Great use of video and animation to get the point across.

In short this is an awesome course. Interactives and exercises are awesome. But Assignment is quite easy to score. This course will be useful for even college students studying Bioengineering and students who are studying medicine.

The course is decent for a basic introduction to cells and tissues which is what I was after. However, I found the content to be fairly light and the whole course could be completed in about 5 hours. The lectures appear to be more focused on teaching students how to pass exams on the subject rather than getting a real understanding of the concepts. This is demonstrated by the bullet point style summaries that each lecture leads towards which makes the course quite useful if you are studying biology and want to use this to help with exam preparation. Although I would have liked a bit more content to cover, the course was fairly well taught with the instructors explaining things well as there were not really any areas I struggled with even though I had no previous knowledge in biology.

The course is superb, very rich in content and very informative. Keep it up. The knowledge I gained from this course is much more needed for the competitive examinations and also for my knowledge. I will definitely going to take many more courses from Queensland University.

Great introductory course for complete beginner or non-science major. Not enough detail for those who are already in science or wanting to pursue science full-time.

Really well designed course for an introduction to Anatomy and Physiology.I recommend this for anyone that wants a quiz overview of the subject before taking it in more detail. It will help the student to have a general idea of tissues and cells that will be discussed repeatedly in A&P.

The course seemed babyish and was taught in a somewhat condescending manner. They do not seem to understand what they are teaching. There were too many inaccuracies. The videos were short, lacked detail, and seemed more like brief overviews of random subjects. Overall I found it to be a waste of time and I did not learn anything new. It did not even serve as a good refresher. It is free and that is the only thing it has going for it. There are other courses out there. I would have been more disappointed if I paid for the verified certificate.

I loved this course! The subjects were explained and illustrated in a way that even beginners in this subject area like me could easily understand the concepts taught. The instructors in the videos explained the lessons very clearly and I loved the analogies they provided (e. g. peeling an orange to illustrate what fascia is, or comparing the muscle to a bunch of spaghetti packs). Also, I found the assignment topics very interesting and learned a lot in my research for these assignments. I have been very happy with this course!
