I think this course might be useful for someone who has never been the leader of a team, or for someone who has been a leader for too long, I mean, for someone who is not used to "modern times".... I find also that the content is not too encouraging, since it leaves too much to the student and the videos are, to a certain extent, a bit old fashioned in their way of displaying things.

I liked the idea of this course at first but then found the content and instructors to not live up to the expectations.

In some ways this was an easy course - it relies on your own accountability. If you are interested in Inclusive Leadership and want to reflect on your own leadership and ways to improve, this is a course I would well recommend. It is a change from within course.

Effective course that I would recommend to everybody. The most important thing to do is not to focus on your plan, and how to apply EACH on a daily life, at work and at home!

This is the 2nd CatalystX class I am following! And I encourage everyone including students, learners, passive readers and futur leaders: to enrol this Awesome and Powerful training!! ILX2 Inclusive Leadership Training: Becoming a Successful Leader; doesn't teach you how to be a charismatic leader... it goes above these kind of cliché and stereotypes... This unprecedented course, defines you perfectly with facts, clear and simple words: "How to be a true Leader today and be accepted by everyone". Beside the excellent level & deep content of this course, I can clearly notice the exceptional efforts, generously made by the teachers: for sharing us and providing us, easy tools to absorb with structured key elements, about: "How to become a Successful Leader". Thank you for all and I'm already excited to follow the 3rd course!!!!!

The content is great if you go through all of the recommended videos and articles. The course should be a little more demanding. I found the effective communication course better in terms of what was actually required.

I actually thoroughly enjoyed the course. While it was full of all the usual buzz words it did encourage independent thought and challenge thinking. The more you put in, the more you get out. Be prepared to work hard to get real results out of it, you've got to be honest with what you are doing.

The course should be more demanding - and the information you learn should be a given to any decent people. Learned little to none.

Course focused on gender/race/disabilty inequality. Although it's very important part of "Leadership" it only one topic in huge ocean of things to know to be a good leader. edX mobile application is really high quality, but this course requires active usage of discussion boards and google docs, which are not handy from phone

It is a bit too basic. Lots of management buzzwords that you will have heard before. Inclusion, Empowerment, Growth, Development, Trust, Relationships, and so on. You could get the same detail by watching a handful of leadership and management videos on youtube and surf a few general subject matter websites to find a matching personal development form. Also under edx's new charging scheme I would say this is certainly not worth paying for the $50 certificate. You can be through the entire course in a quiet afternoon and the qualification has no inherent value.

This course challenged my thinking regarding both leaders & followers and how inclusive teams should lead to better outcomes all things being equal. There is a difference between a leader that you are obliged to follow and one that you choose to follow and this course can help define one from the other.
