Management accounting was introduced in 1950. It helps to take decision making to the management. The process of preparing management reports and accounts that provide accurate and timely financial and statistical information required by managers to make day-to-day and short-term decisions. Unlike financial accounting, which produces annual reports mainly for external stakeholders, management accounting generates monthly or weekly reports for an organization's internal audiences such as department managers and the chief executive officer. These reports typically show the amount of available cash, sales revenue generated, amount of orders in hand, state of accounts payable and accounts receivable, outstanding debts, raw material and inventory, and may also include trend charts, variance analysis, and other statistics.

Hello, I'm Akib from Bangladesh. I've taken the FA2-MA2 course of ACCA-X and successfully passed both of these subjects with the score for which I can feel proud. I loved the effectiveness of the contents. The way how the lessons are explained were very helpful for me. I could easily understand the topics. The practice questions after every lessons and at the end of the module helped me to strengthen my concept on the paper. Questions are updated with current exam style and very helpful not only to pass but also to obtain very good understanding on the paper which will help the students in their later paper. The discussion section to discussion section to discuss with teacher and learners also helped me a lot. If I couldn't understand any topic I just asked it to the teacher and got my desired answer. I would strongly recommend everyone to take the course. It'll help you to gain better understanding on the paper.

This course was well worth my time! Content is relevant, comprehensive and interesting. Instructors interact with and encourage learners and this provides vital insight as well as motivation. The website/format is easy to understand and navigate and information is available for offline viewing. Confident of passing these papers after passing FA1 AND MA1 whilst studying with ACCA-X. I'd highly recommend taking this course to anyone interested in gaining accounting/financing knowledge.

I'm about to enrol on this course to take ACCA's FA2 and MA2 (Foundations paper F2) the key thing to understand here is you cannot 100% learn finance and expect to pass the ACCA exams from 5 minute videos. You must study alongside this and gain the background knowledge to pass the exam, however the videos were a good support source

I'm not sure what to think about this course. On the one hand, I liked the motivation of the teachers and found the summary material for each week especially helpful (and funny); on the other hand, I think the subject of each week was addressed without the depth required to teach actual skills, and I personally couldn't benefit from the interviews with MIT-level entrepreneurs whose (although fascinating) ideas seem so far away from what an ordinary person can do.
