Very good. Would have been even better if there was a closer connection between video lecture and quiz/lab material. Something like the following: 1. A simple demonstration 2. Exercise similar to demonstration 3. Demonstration of complexities 4. Exercise requiring generalization of complexities. Good job.

I find the assignments sometimes rather vague, there is no logical build up on the different weeks and there is no connection between the lectures and the assignments sometimes. I find it rather unclear.

I really liked the course. I did not have basic Excel skills prior to taking the course, as I didn't realize that was a prerequisite. Nevertheless, I was able to learn the basic skills elsewhere and then successfully complete the course. I like the critical thinking challenges that were inherent in the course. It is good that not everything was spelled out, so we could learn to experiment, troubleshoot, and solve problems independently. I only wish I took this course two years ago. I will now be able to greatly improve the metrics and graphics I use at work. Thank you.

First completed course. Enjoyed the flow of material and excited to take on some more. I do feel like I could repeat many of the problems but I would definitely need to reference online. I don't think I have gotten enough repetition with the material but hopefully that will be gotten in future courses.

I am very impressed. As a result of this course, I have been able to do more with dashboard. The quizzes are the in-thing. they make the knowledge sink deeper as I practiced what was thought in each video. Thanks to Microsoft and the instructor

This was an exciting journey. I was looked forward to coming back. I am definitely taking more courses on edX. The scenarios were in-depth. This is commendable. However, the additional materials were not so comprehensive.

Would have been even better if there was a closer connection between video lecture and quiz/lab material. Also, the materials covered could have been more in quantity as well as more organized.

I learn how to use the Excel and that is why I took the course. Thanks for offering it to me. It taught me how to write a table and other things that I will need to make a good report. There are other things that I learn. I learn some formula that I will need in order to do in the Excel spreadsheet. I hope that you can help others like you help me. And they like the way it was taught to them.

The content actually discussed was through however a more complex curriculum could have been incorporated in the head of Data Analysis. The course was short and easy to complete. May be of better use for school and college projects as not a very complex data structure introduction was posted in these lectures.

An amazing course. The instructor demonstrated the content well and the exercises were very simple to follow. I learned many new things such as how to create PivotTables, use slicers, and the different between Absolute and relative references in Excel. The only thing was that the instructor stuttered a bit when speaking. Not too bad as it happens to a lot of people but a script for him to read might be good. But I would recommend this course for others to be proficient in Excel.

This was a great course that allowed me to get an initial understanding of how to analyze data using excel. I learned some basic functions that will be necessary to analyze all sorts of data in the future. There could have been a closer relationship between the exercises and the lecture, though. I also think that some of the questions were worded incorrectly or in an unclear way.

It's a very good introduction to Excel basics. I liked the course format - video lectures followed by lab exercises with direct application of the lecture contents. The instructor explains everything in great detail and the pacing is perfect. I am looking forward to more detailed courses on Excel now.

I really learned a lot from this course, though that means that I have to seriously read the further readings. The lab exercises are great to better understand the topic. I realize that Excel Table is different from an ordinary table.

From overall, I really like this course. This is very good. It helps me a lot to deep understand analyze the data using Excel. But unfortunately, I can't complete some Lab that requires using Excel 2016 since I'm still using Excel 2013. But it's okay.

I thought the course instructor did a good job demonstrating the various uses of excel and explained his steps very well. I thought the provider was great. Only problem was in the last lesson downloading some of the files. Other than that, I took this course with ease. I can definitely say I will be using this course in my work and education.

The content is pretty good and I can immerse myself into a specific scenario step by step, which enhances my career preparation. I love this prof because he demenstrated the feature of Excel under a particular situation in the market setting and dealt with the process of data analysis through a series of questions.
