Very good. Would have been even better if there was a closer connection between video lecture and quiz/lab material. Something like the following: 1. A simple demonstration 2. Exercise similar to demonstration 3. Demonstration of complexities 4. Exercise requiring generalization of complexities. Good job.

Class is pretty useful. There were a couple of places where the lecture could've used a bit more explaining to get through quiz and lab. It just forces you to look around a bit for a better understanding but I think that was the point.

Being an introduction, the content could use a slide or two on the basic language of the tool, without prejudice to the need to encourage exploration by the student. The Instructor and Provider have done great. I have benefitted a lot from the exercise and commend the entire team.

The experience has been amazing. The course seem to cover the most of the uncharted territories. I took this course because of the interest in data analysis and now the course has open a different world for me to plunge in. Really appreciate the designing, instruction and testing team here.

I really enjoyed this course. In my workplace a basic understanding of Excel is expected, but I've always felt self conscious about my relative lack of Excel experience, to the point that I developed a mild case of Excel phobia. Taking the course at my own pace and in the comfort of my home really helped me conquer this, and I'm much more confident in using Excel now. The lectures were straight forward and their length and content was perfect. The quizzes and labs were also helpful and I feel like they genuinely helped me develop some new skills. As my first MOOC I've overall been really impressed by this. Nice job Microsoft.

This course is very informative. I thought I know a lot of techniques and formula with excel but with this course it seems that there are a lot more to learn with Excel 2016.

The course was great and everything was well-explained. The only thing that made me struggle a bit was because of some differences from the English and the Italian version of excel while writing formulas.

I had no knowledge of excel what so ever. To be honest I only enrolled thinking it would teach me basic level Excel but later realised it was basic Data Analytics. LOL stupid me :P But however, I learnt basic excel while doing this course. It was my first edX course and I think it was really great! :D

Fantastic course to become familiar with Data Analysis options using Excel, even for someone like myself who had never used pivot tables before. Nicely-paced by the instructor.

Great course!! Prior to taking this course, I did not know Excel can do so many cool things. The experience was as expected since the course provider was Microsoft itself, although I occasionally found it difficult to understand the questions in quiz/lab sessions.

Very well designed course. I learned pivot tables in great details which was my weak area before starting this course. I think it can be more helpful to students if there are more number of questions with less steps already given so that students can think and prepare the pivot tables on their own.

Not good, following the course, you don't go in depth of certain functions, it is just not presented well...you can pass all labs with 100% but after finishing it, you feel like you haven't really learned much.

The course is very well structured. But I believe some parts could be better explained: for instance, when we are using excel functions, we could have acess to a equivalency list (a list where is said: the function "*" correspond to this "*/*/" in this language). Meanwhile, excluding this little problem I descibe, the course is extremely useful and easy to learn with the lectures, even for someone like me, who had no previous experience in excel.

Challenging course, but worth it. Wish the lectures were more closely tied to the labs, but all great practice. Ran into a couple issues using Excel 2013, but discussion posts helped with those workarounds.

V nice introduction to Pivot tables. The sumifs was a bit tricky and required a bit of digging outside for help, but this forced me to remind myself some excel features., and . Would have been even better if there was a closer connection between video lecture and quiz/lab material, as mentione by one person before. but nontheless a good experience

The "SumIfs" string was impractical and required a lot of pre-knowledge about Excel symbols. Otherwise, everything was useful and relevant. The pace of the course was fine; some of the questions were strangely worded.

Content is good, but little prior knowledge of excel is required in order to complete the lab sessions. Would have been better if there was closer connection i.e., all the areas that were asked in the lab sessions were covered thoroughly.
