Very good. Would have been even better if there was a closer connection between video lecture and quiz/lab material. Something like the following: 1. A simple demonstration 2. Exercise similar to demonstration 3. Demonstration of complexities 4. Exercise requiring generalization of complexities. Good job.

Having learnt prior to this class the basis of analysis, I widened my horizon in data analysis particularly using Pivot table. The video and the instructor are succinct enough but would prefer the lab questions to be more challenging. All in all, it was an interesting endeavour.

Clear instructor, good videos, content was instructive. Exercises could be a bit more challenging, I would prefer an option where you could choose between more guidance or less guidance.

I really enjoyed the course and I can say that this is really professional. For the first time, it was not easy because I was not following the instructions but when i noticed my mistakes, I began to figure out all. For those who stuck somewhere, I would like to advise them to go to the discussions area to find out more from others. There are students who could help solve your issues. Thanks and best regards. Great job

The material was good. My overall experience was fine. It could have been better if the instructor had gone through all the options related to the content in detail as some of the functions were not working despite being available in excel 2013. Also, I was confused at many places, thanks to the instructor. But, overall, the instructor had a good knowledge and the course was well taught.

The course has good demonstration, well explain, and excellent interactive study. The only drawback is that sometime the quiz question and the lessen in each module is not aligned. But overall, it's very thoughtful to start learning to use Excel for data analysis.

I believe the course is simple, informative and the labs are a good way of learning. I think the labs could be more difficult or at least the difficulty level is increasing.

Great course! Tried DAT206x before (as 3rd course of the Data Analyst XSeries) but as I wasn´t that familiar with pivot tables it was to difficult for me. This one was just about right! And the fact that it´s for free is the cherry on the cake! Thanks Microsoft and thanks edX. Sharing (knowledge) is caring!

I took the course because I want to take a more advanced course. This was great for solidifying my knowledge. It would be great for the lecturer to go into a bit more detail about some of the more difficult formulas such as SUMIFS

I decided to take this course because i needed to learn about how to create and work with pivot tables. I think the course was really useful to me and it is designed for people with certain knowledge of microsoft excel in order to get the best out of it. If you don't have experience using excel i recommend that you learn some before taking this course.

The Labs were well explained and provided good work through, but even with workarounds, should only be done with Excel 2016 (latest). The videos need to be better recorded with higher quality screen views and re-shot where the speaker stumbles or selects the wrong screen or option. Their creation appeared rushed and slightly less than the usual level of professionalism. The real problem with this course is the knowledge check questions which rely on you listening to every word spoken and truly understanding the nuances of Excel options and features. Many of the questions are describing obscure facets which are not readily recalled. All in all the course should be re-scripted, and reshot at a higher visual and performance quality.

The visuals are useless - the active screen is much too small to actually SEE what is being done. The quizzes' sentence structure is sometimes difficult to follow.

The content is good and the additional resources for further reading as well. I believe it should have more content teaching you how to analyse data. The instructor is very knowledgeable, even though he seemed like sometimes he did not have the organized idea of what he was saying but i was able to infer most of the knowledge. You should definitely have some Excel background before taking this course. Be aware that this is not introduction to Excel, it is introduction to Data Analysis using Excel.
