To complement, pivot charts and slicers can be used together to visualize data and create easy to use dashboards.

You should have a basic understanding of creating formulas and how cells are referenced by rows and columns within Excel to take this course. If required, you can can find many help topics on Excel at the Microsoft Office Support Site. You are welcome to use any supported version of Excel you have installed in your computer, however, the instructions are based on Excel 2016. You may not be able to complete all exercises as demonstrated in the lectures but workarounds are provided in the lab instructions or Discussion forum. Please note that Excel for Mac does not support many of the features demonstrated in this course.

After taking this course you’ll be ready to continue to our more advanced Excel course, Analyzing and Visualizing Data with Excel.

The content is packed with useful information and the instructor explained the process clearly. I used Excel v 10 and still was able to follow the labs and lecture (except for the last lab that required the 2016 version.

Really an informative one and what we have studied in our school time now becomes an effective and more advanced software program to deal with. One should try and learn to upgrade themselves with the software.

Very nice course. I will recommend it to my friends. Unfortunately it cost 99$ and access to quiz not free. Excel is powerful and useful tool. And this course is very good in visualization of problems and solutions with Excel.

Presenters were clear and provided many tips on using Excel, resources under further readings were very useful too. Labs were appropriate for the contents covered, although it can be a bit confusing at times (need more link between lecture and lab)

The content provided is very much sufficient foe one-self to do the course study by him/her-self and gives a great insight into excel. The linked materials that are provided are not only sufficient to learn the required concepts but are also easy to understand and grasp the knowledge thoroughly. The instructor also explains the topic very precisely within a shorter time frame

Course was really fun filled learning with the examples showed by john from topic 1 to 8 with the connectivity for each,I think it will help us more if we give the assignments based on the topics of different complexity and also video just gives a hint for the coming quiz and lab,,it will really help a person to acquire more knowledge if it covers more tricks, problems of topics in details in the every lecture and need a lecture/experts advice on the discussion panel as well in order to solve our quires.

Great course. I have learned a lot. This class is not easy, but if you are ready to put in the effort, it's worth it. Sometimes however, the questions asked in the quizzes were not talked about in the videos, making it hard to have the right answers

Very good. Would have been even better if there was a closer connection between video lecture and quiz/lab material. Something like the following: 1. A simple demonstration 2. Exercise similar to demonstration 3. Demonstration of complexities 4. Exercise requiring generalization of complexities. Good job

Content is Good. Instructor is also Good.Lab Exercises are good. Learnt a lot through Lab Exercises. One must focus and try to complete all the Quiz and Lab exercises in order to learn

Course is relatively good. Just that some parts especially formulae could be a tat confusing as the cells might not be the same. It would be good to explain how the formula works as some learners like myself might not understand why is this formula applied and why is the data extracted from there.

Very good! I really enjoyed this course and I´m ready to take the next one =) Obviously this type of knowledge you need to practice a lot and the labs in the course were very good. I´m sure some days in the future I will need to review some labs and do it again in order to have the knowledge fresh.
