If required, you can can find many help topics on Excel at the Microsoft Office Support Site. You are welcome to use any supported version of Excel you have installed in your computer, however, the instructions are based on Excel 2016. You may not be able to complete all exercises as demonstrated in the lectures but workarounds are provided in the lab instructions or Discussion forum. Please note that Excel for Mac does not support many of the features demonstrated in this course.

After taking this course you’ll be ready to continue to our more advanced Excel course, Analyzing and Visualizing Data with Excel.

Exceptional, I took 8 days to do it cause all the structure leads so quicly the improvement that was impossible to stop! The lectures are clear explaned, the references make sense, the laboratory experiences seems taylored on the current knowledge, The most usefull think is a "real" data source to work on. I am going to the next course

Very instructive. It shows how to do it then makes the students do so using a plausible example which follows the students throughout the course. I look forward to learning more as I take the next course.

I loved this course and have accumulated good knowledge from it. The only thing i am disappointed is, the instructor should also explain the process on Mac. Excel is not as powerful on Mac as on Windows. Was in conversation with Microsoft help desk for the .mdb access file tutorial and it ended on a note saying "Sir you should try moving on a windows machine". Experts should help us in alternative method as well.

This is a brilliant course, I am very glad I took the time to do it, I have begun recommending it, to my spouse first, because she works with a lot of data at work and has been asking me questions about pivot tables. I am really excited as I look forward to completing the next course.

I guess the only difficulty I had was to locate some of the options and tabs in excel, instructions were very clear though. Maybe the problem was that I wasn't very familiar with the excel environment. Other than that everything was great.

Many problems can not be solved with excel 2007. In the lecture camera shold be focused mainly on the screen. Lap top screen is not visible clearly.Subject material is not sufficient. It should be given in pdf.

I think this course is designed brilliantly for young minds entering into a professional world, specially jobs of sales, marketing and finance. This would really help them learn the basics of a very important tool in Excel. Since Excel is widely used in every field, this course is a highly recommended course. Although, the instructor should be more elaborate on details of questions that are later asked on in the quizzes and labs.

it's a great course. firstly because the concept of a virtual sales manager and the responsibility on you to give her the analysis played a very important part because it was looking as if we are actually analyzing the real data. secondly the step by step guide provided by Mr Danny was amazing as it surely a very informative course to do

Many things about which questions were asked following the corresponding lecture were not explained with due detail in the lecture itself. And then the next lecture would move ahead with that topic. The course says "Introduction" but it does not give treatment of vlookup instead saying that it is already known by everyone. Well, then it is not an "Introduction".The instructor uses many shortkeys in quick succession with the keyboard to perform many tasks in excel but he does not mention explicitly about them leaving the learner guessing. It's the same with quick mouse-clicks here and there to perform certain tasks whose function should have been mentioned clearly while using them.I also felt the course was uni-directional and not comprehensive enough, leaving many other topics uncovered. The questions are also not challenging enough is some cases. But I did learn a lot, and I haven't gone through the second excel course, so hopefully I'... I liked the course, but I think the videos were a little bit long. I also think that there could be more analytical questions in the labs. The content was good and it was explained clearly.

It was a good course. It could be great if the instructor make it more dynamic. Although, some of the exercises were excellent for this level. I can't wait to move on the next course.

It helped me in understanding advanced excel like Pivot Table, Slicers, Dashboards etc. Instructor was very good. He explained everything so nicely and correctly in a way that people can easily understand. Provider is also good. Microsoft has provided a very good content. It's a great course! As a beginning data scientist I am looking for the most appropriate tool to work with data, and the course has proved that Excel is certainly one of them. The course structure is very organized, one topic flows out of previous one, and that makes it easy to follow. The labs were extremely useful as they helped me a lot to memorize everything!

I appreciate the learning opportunity with having us do some intermediate level tasks without explicit instructions on how to accomplish them, but for those who are not able to figure them out, they could be class-ending issues.
