Enjoyed the course and found it interesting to try the different versions of Linux with the interactive screens and demos / exercises. Worried about taking the exam but passed with 97% so have learned quite a lot around the command line where I was weak before the course.

I have just completed this. I have been using Linux for years but mainly for computer forensics. To examine Windows computers ironically. I still learned a lot especially on the scripting and server side. I highly recommend this course for anyone learning Linux or for Windows Administrators who want a good place to start. After you complete this I would recommend Googling with the keywords: lpi ibm tutorials . That will take you to a great set of tutorials for the Linux Professional Institute exam.

As a long time Linux user I was able to go through the course within one day. I already knew a lot of stuff but also I found quite some new ways of doing things that I was never aware of just because I stoped looking for better alternatives. It's allways good to step one step back. For complete newbies I imagine this course to be really hard!

As a long time Linux user there were a lot of things I already knew but also there were a lot of things that I didn't know because my routines were so settled that I didn't look for better ways of doing things. A big thank you!

I was surprised at the depth of material covered in this course. I would never expect an introductory course to cover topics like networking, bash scripting and text processing commands to this degree but I was pleasantly surprised. Most of the material presented is practical and showcases the power of GNU/Linux as an operating system.

Material in this course not achieve depth required to be published in such format and on platform like edx, because of this material is highly disperse. I can not recommend this course, except you not experienced user of computers in general. Because I'm not beginner for me to go trough all material took about 10 hours.

A very in depth course. I confess I had prior knowledge to LINUX but this course allowed me to refresh all my previous knowledge and also add on to some stuff I did not know. Although it took me about 10-15 hours to complete it, I enjoyed it very much!

I was expecting to learn linux from grass-root level to the level at which professionals work. I got what I wanted. The notes of each topic were precise and easy to understand. The flow of the course was quite good. It felt in the right order and as I progressed, I correctly figured out what should be coming next. It would have been much better if the notes were provided in pdf. I would love if they provide more interactive exercises and small projects that require a good understanding of the commands and concepts and result in something that's useful in real applications.

I met with this course by help of my IT manager. I'm working on a ERP company and we're working on Linux system. I am new to business life and I had no idea about Linux OS due to the fact that I had used only Microsoft during the my academic years.. In our computer labs in the university we had no computer on Linux OS. I got basic and great informations, views about Linux by way of this course and I think to attend to this course is the best, easiest and fastest way to learn Linux environment.
