I think it is a great course for everyone who wants an introduction to R programming language and environment. It gives you the basics for understanding anything more advanced. In my opinion, some programming background is required for catching every flavor of this course and for coping with what is not said by instructors because of time limitations.

A very important step in becoming a data scientist. One needs to review ones basic math, especially linear algebra. Having a bit of R knowledge, syntax-wise, will be essential in have a credible grade in the course. Of course, one needs to watch the videos...they help. Overall and exciting course.

Amazing course! I have so quickly learnt all the basics of R. However, the only drawback is that in real scenario, you work with real data. This course does not deal with import or working on external data. But all in all, it is one of the best way to learn basics and understand the various aspects R can deal with!! Great job and thank you :)

This was a great intro to R. The sections were enjoyable, with clear descriptions and enough problems and reviews to make the material more memorable. Will definitely take the next course in the series.

This course is amazing! If you're a non-programmer then you can start from zero and learn very much about R progamming language. I started knowing nothing and now, after learn a bunch of stuffs, I just want to continue with the intermediate course and practice some more.

I sincerely love the content, it is clearly taught and laid out, I really like the idea that key points are repeated again and again through practice. I cannot deny that the instructor can be boring sometimes, because as we see, lectures on programming can be boring. So I have to watch the video two or three times to fully catch what the instructor talks out. The provider is really nice. I really like the way the knowledge is presented. The interface is quite user-friendly, though you DO have to take a short walk from time to time as you can tell, sitting in front of the desk and wearing earphones can be tiring. However, I never have the patience to read the book "An Introduction to R" by myself. I hope next time I can read the book carefully and patiently. One thing that may need improvement for this course is the instruction, how can we make the content more interesting? That is one thing the instructor may thinks about.

It is created so nice that I realy enoyed doing this course. I liked lab's very much, since it's beging with easy problems and then it goes step by step with more complex problems. That is the way to upgrade the knowladge that person is gaining during whole course.

Good course for someone new to R (like me). I learned the basics fairly quickly, and the exercises helped lock in the knowledge. I recommend you experiment with R along the way, beyond the lectures and exercises. Doing just the minimum will not prepare you fully for the exam.

This course is awesome especially for non-programmers who are new to R. It flows seamlessly from the known to the unknown. The instructor is clear an exercises truly enforces course contents. I highly recommend this course for aspiring data scientists who have not used R before.

It was really cool to learn newly about R - course content was clear and easy to understand. Labs and Quiz helped to brush up each of the section that we learn. Final Exam was FUN to try and attempt the queries related to List, Matrix, Data Frame, Graphs, Factors, etc., I really loved the course and interested to take the next Programming In R course provided by Microsoft as next step from here. Thanks to Data Camp and Microsoft to provide good course streamlined for us..

This course is really easy to understand. I will recommend this course to anyone who is a beginner for r language learning for further applications. I'm also taking some bioinformatics courses, where I found that my lack of knowledge in R language really delays my course learning pace. Then I found this great course that get me familiar with R language and prepare for further applications.

This course is a good introductory course into Data Science. The language used "R" is well described with a good number of examples. The length of the modules is a bit on the lower side but you will feel comfortable once you get the concept. I thoroughly enjoyed the course and gained quit a lot of info. Do not worry if you are a non programmer, the staff will help you out.

Excellent course! I'm a PhD student in environmental engineering who will need to use R during my doctorate. I had never used R before, though I had some experience in other programming languages. The course really covers the basics and it's a great way to become acquainted with R. Thanks to this course I'm looking forward to taking further courses on the subject.

Having never done any work with R before, I found this course very clear and well laid out. The videos were short, and there was more emphasis on the Labs, which was great as you learn better by doing it your self.

I thought that the content, instructor, and provider were top notch. The videos were concise and to the point. The fact that the handouts for each video were the slides in the video made it easy to review. I personally enjoy "playing around" with piece of technology to figure it out, so giving the basics in the video and allowing me to experiment was great. The R DEV Environment in the browser provided by the provider was also top notch. Most of what I could do, maybe everything that I could do in R Studio, I could do in the browser. The only reason why I'm giving 4 stars to the provider, and not 5, was that the test allowed me to write code on some occasions, and not in others. This is going to sound petty, however, although it's pretty cool that I can choose a tag, which would be placed in the code area, it was not as intuitive as me being able to enter the code, at will, as I was able to do in the labs. In the labs, I could write code in the way that I wanted ("$" instead of "[[]]", for example) and get to the answer faster. Maybe there's something to say about forcing me to use all aspects, I don't know, but I think freeform is better.

Good introduction to R Programming. Course content was clearly presented and easy to follow. The lab exercises helped reinforce the topics covered in the lectures. The final exam could be improved as the questions don't necessarily cover all the topics in the course, and it does not show which questions were not answered correctly at the end, just an overall score.

Good introduction to R, though I had hoped to go into a bit more depth. The lab work is a great way to get experience with the language and practice creating your on R code and outputs. The material and lectures were nicely designed and led which made it easy to follow the program. For me, I just found it a bit easy and wanted to do more.

Very well-pitched course introducing R for Data Science. Assumes no prior experience of R or programming and manages to give a good grounding in both fields. There is a good mixture of lecturing, short review questions (very helpful for concretely conveying key points), and practical lab exercises. The availability of content is excellent, with all handouts downloadable. Very pleased with the overall experience and I now feel confident to move on to more advanced R courses (e.g. Programming in R for Data Science). Thanks very much for the excellent resource!

Content is introduced in a clear way and it covered the main points of R programming. The only thing I disliked was the lack of a bigger project at the end of the course. I like the structure of the exam, as it really tests whether you have a proper understanding of the topics covered.
