I wish I had taken this before marriage. I learned many things being married 55 years but I would have had an easier time if I had this knowledge before---as they say, never too late to learn.

The content is interesting, and experimental! Take it, a different vision! EDX or any other kind of platforms are very useful as they give you freedom to take the course at your path. Concretely this course has given me an insight to Personal Growth from an Asian perspective.

The content was really excellent, maybe i prefer a more experimental and less a survey basis but that's probably more a limitation in the evidence than anything. EDX has been bothing me a lot lately because the archived material often has deactivated test modules but that isn't a problem here

Interesting course. General concepts easy to understand. Helps to know a bit more differences between west and western cultures and different points of view in basic emotions and perception of romantic love

Good course, so interesting. Learning about culture in other countries is exciting. In my opinion the instructor looks so serious and i think she needs to be more dinamic in her expressions. But in general the course is useful.

The instructor was very coherent and easy to understand, explained very well lesser known terms. It was interesting to me to see how differences can be explained by cultural and linguistic reasons.

Course structure allowed for creative response and personal interpretations from experience. It also helped me to discern the difference between weaknesses and strengths in relationships. I found that the formal content was not exactly the same as my experience in Australia for this reason I could discover for myself my own perspective on relationships

I was expecting more advanced theories on the psychology of personal growth. The course offers extensive details on how to conduct research and treat data, on how to analyze love . I liked the second chapter, which was regarding learning myself, but still it was very poor the material.

As an older person I found a lot of the material fairly obvious. I did, however, really appreciate the comparison between romantic love in the west and in China.

Great course, very interesting with a perfect balance and a rich documentation. Thank you.for the good and passionate instructor with her sense of humour and her knowless of the Chinese culture, that grip me very much. Therefore I am collecting Chinese films for many years, so I get a view in the daily life of the Chinese people. I am very satisfied of the provider edX, you can run trough the course very easy and fast. For everybody who is interested in Psychology and special in Personal Growth and perhaps also in the people of China and his culture; I am recommending this course with all my heart.

it was good overall and i would recommend that if someone is interested in understanding the relationships and emotions must take this course. however, it becomes vague in between and at the later parts it was more oriented toward the Chinese culture making it difficult for others to relate.

The course is very interesting. I could learn a little about Chinese culture what is helpful because I have some Chinese family. I'll do another course with this instructor -- her speech is clear.

I think that this was a very interesting course, covering many different aspects of human personality development. From my point of view, it would be even more interesting, if you could also teach about how to help other people to develop their personality/personal growth.
