Course Description

Regression Analysis is the most common statistical modeling approach used in data analysis and it is the basis for more advanced statistical and machine learning modeling.

In this course, you will be given fundamental grounding in the use of widely used tools in regression analysis. You will learn the basics of regression analysis such as linear regression, logistic regression, Poisson regression, generalized linear regression and model selection.

Throughout this course, you will be exposed to not only fundamental concepts of regression analysis but also many data examples using the R statistical software. Thus by the end of this course, you will also be familiar with the implementation of regression models using the R statistical software along with interpretation for the results derived from such implementations.

This course is more about the opportunity for individual discovery than it is about mastering a fixed set of te...

OMS Analytics from GT is overly promising but under delivered. No staffs involvement. Course seems like only videos and a ton of locked-behind-paywalls contents. Why not open this on Coursera?

The assignments and forums are locked behind a paywall. Don't bother with this course as there are numerous other higher quality free options available.

This is a great course and with correct amount of graduate school curriculum it is hard course but well worth it the effort.

Terrible course without instructors or TA's involvements. Assignments are locked behind paywalls without any communication to the Audit learners, wasting them a huge amount of time waiting for assignments to be available.

This course is clearly still in beta. The course videos are not edited, containing retakes, stuttering, and correcting of mistakes. There is no communication between the professor and students on the discussion boards, even for students who have paid for the course verified certificate. There is also no other way for students (verified or not) to reach out to the staff or professor for assistance. All the course documents have simple spelling and grammar mistakes, which a single review after typing using a word processor should have caught, let alone a professor's review. The homework have fundamental inconsistencies and, because the professor is not responsive to questions, these inconsistencies can't be corrected or clarified, leading to a frustrating experience. Don't waste your time with this course. There are many better courses for regression analysis.
