Excellent course. Splendid instructor with adequate speed of delivery. The module sequence was wonderful and the inter-connectivity of the modules was also good. The course gave nice overview and learning. The beginning course overview was particularly helpful in understanding the overview of the course. Topics like Make to order and make to stock are helpful indecision making. Unit on inventory management was also good for managing stock and reducing overall cost.

As a new comer to this field found the course very informative. Discussion starts from a big picture while narrowing to the smalls one and then coming back to the big picture again. Takeaways are easy specially because of the mind-map charts. There are lots of activities inside including the quizzes, exercises and case studies. Hope there could be non-graded supplemental exercises for those who care to learn more. Also i hope they create a sequel to this one with advance topics. Thank you

Excellent course. The videos are clear and easily to follow. The homework and especially the last assignment keeps you on your toes - but that reinforces the learning and be able to apply it.

Very well structured course that guides you through criteria for designing/managing a Supply Chain. The professor explains how he believes we should approach Supply Chain challenges such as manufacturing triggers, inventory, distribution. The material opens out well, everything being clearly built upon from Module 1 onwards. I would imagine the course will improve further on its 2nd run.

Excellent course; it covers key concepts and business strategies for planning your organization from the very beginning. To make the most of this course it is preferable that you have some past job experience in order to apply concepts in your daily activities. For any willing to take SCM micromasters courses from MIT, I strongly recommend to take this course first.

Very well thought out with a theme that was introduced at the start and then built on to introduce the idea, the basics of a supply chain that was then explained and demonstrated. The course presenter Pierre has obviously spent some time developing this course and presents it very well in easy to understand language. It is I think a good course for introducing a “Supply Chain Management: A Decision-Making Framework” and explaining what it is all about; the setting of priorities against which supply decisions can be made and then how to make some of those key decisions whilst balancing economic and availability goals. It is not all you will ever need but it is a good basis, a place to start, and introduces awareness of some of the likely constraints likely within any Supply Chain.

The whole course is very explanatory and provide a clear overview of every logistic processes. It is not easy to find a syllabus considering and providing a total helicopter view and allowing to identify clear keys to take in consideration during analysis. In addition, the work load and the course length are bearable.

All of it was excellent. All principles applies to other disciplines like lean production. In parallel I was taking another course on Supply Chain Analytics from MITx and it would be more difficult to understand the excercises without the concepts taught in Louv13x such as cross docking and inventory cost. Mr. Pierre has explained everything very clear and he knows very well all the concepts.

It was way beyond what I expected. It was my first MOOC course and I managed to have self-discipline until the delivery of the final paper and this was very good as self learning. The structure of the course and subject matter is very clear and easy to understand. Professor Semal's classes are great despite Belgian English, which for me who has learned English with French is an advantage. By proposing to be a learning of Supply Chain concepts, I feel 100% satisfied.
