I liked it a lot and made me feel like I can do something positive for myself every day. I have meditated before but with these tools and explanations by the instructors, gives me more of a direction so to speak. I think the only suggestion I would make is to slow down the conversation a little bit since being an American, have a little trouble understanding some words. Maybe it is just me! (laughing)Thank you for offering the online course! I

This course is a brilliant introduction to mindfulness. It gives learners practical tools - from guided meditations to suggestions of how to bring mindfulness to everyday activities - and grounds these in clear, accessible explanations about the science underpinning mindfulness. Best of all, the mentors and educators are engaging, supportive, hands-on and responsive to learners' questions. It's a course that can truly change your life for the better.

This is an excellent course. Both the material as well as the instructors and the mentors. Videos are well presented, and activities are great to start practising. Additional material to support the course is also very good.

This is a great introductory course to mindfulness. I particularly liked the fact that on some videos there were a pair of presenters, making it more like a dialog then a monologue. I got more engaged with these particular videos and found them easier to follow. Also great instructors - you can feel they have been practicing mindfulness for a while by their kind and peaceful vibe :). I highly recommend this course to all the people new to mindfulness or to those who would like to reconnect to their mindfulness practice. Thank you to all the instructors and people involved in creating this course. An excellent job!

A really great course with lots to learn that is very useful in all aspects of life. Loved the mix of videos and articles presented in a fun way so we never got bored. Great feedback and comments from the facilitators throughout the four weeks - best of any course I have done so far! Highly recommend.

I have been looking into mindfulness and meditation for some years now, reading the work of Jon Kabatt-Zin, but also more spiritual oriented ones like The Power of Now by Eckhart Tolle or OSHO's meditations. Most of the time, however, I found the information either too mystical and not specific enough, or I lacked some scientific information. This course has a very practical and academic approach to the topic of mindfulness, which is exactly what I needed. It helps you understand the purpose of mindfulness, the goals, establish a practice and understand the process. It clears up any haziness around if you're doing it right or wrong and answers the common questions one might be asking him self when practicing meditation or mindfulness. This course has helped establish motivation to have a routine of daily mindfulness practice and also to implement it in everyday life. I enjoyed this course and also the follow up and I will ... I have followed this course several times and can highly recommend it. Craig and Richard, the course leaders, and mentors Jen and Sherelle, together with the rest of the team at Monash give us an insight into the concept of mindfulness and its benefits, combined with a gentle introduction to guided meditations, showing just how valuable this can be to our mental and physical wellbeing. Although it doesn't happen overnight, I can honestly say that following the course and even doing the minimum it recommends has made a significant difference to my ability to stay calm and controlled and to be generally nicer to be around with family and friends :-)

The course content is great and instructor amazing. A very interesting course. This is a sequel from Mindfulness for peak performance . The quality of the first course lead me to take this one and I'm not disappointed at all. I would (and did in fact) recommend both of them any time.

The story below is mine if we wanted to offer something for lecturers to receive from us [students] You may like the insights. Hello fellow Future Learner students, I study Mindfulness and Peak Performance whenever it is offered. I have been advised to do so by caring health professionals in a team who give me guidance for well being. I can bring myself back to the moment fully with the Mindfulness training. It is gentle and teaches empathy and a compassionate approach to thoughts. The learning has been safe and the structure for all levels of ability. For me, it is groundbreaking and works to engage me. I find the ‘commas’ in my daily routine, in my moments. I am richer for the experienced Mindfulness and Peak Performance. It is something I will continue as it isn’t to be put aside. My personal hobby study is better, my moments when one is tested emotionally are fine with compassionate approach for myself. My sleep hygiene is a great result. I consciously worked on this approach for sleep; with delight in the benefits. I now understand procrastination better and will be working on it, to experience the engagement in the process to shift from certain patterns [recognition came], patterns, I didn’t have the cognitive words for. But Mindfulness meets my needs, more compassionate and fast change for my brain to work with. A happy learner. Love the course structure and course professionals knowledge of the research being shared on the global platform; for the brain function that is. [If you want my name to this; it’s fine. This is a really detailed and user-friendly course. I have done it twice over a two year period and many people do return to the course in order to refresh their commitment and practise or to support them continue mindfulness during life changes. In fact the learning community is a very big plus in this course as you do feel as though you are learning and practising as part of a community. Another thing that I find quite unique about this course is the level of feedback and support of the online mentors and also the fact that the 2 main facilitators record real-time end-of week feedback in a youtube video that directly responds to questions and discussions that came up in the learners comments after each step. I have just completed the October 2017 course and this is the first time that the original course is now being run as 2 slightly shorter courses with a 2 week break in between. The best online course I've come across in terms of its teaching/guiding quality, enthusiasm, .... This course was recommended to my Mindfulness Group and yoga teacher. Now having completed it a few months ago, I've been recommending it to every one at every opportunity. I'll always be greatful to "Mindfulness & Pick Performance" team for doing an excellent job and leaving learners, like myself, with such fund memories of themselves and all that they taught us so enthusistically. They actually care about their work and their students.

Exceptionally well put together online course. The subject is explained clearly and with a good inclusion of mp3's for practice. If you want to know more about Mindfulness and to PRACTICE, then I highly recommend this course. It felt very interactive with high participation from the other students and regularly feedback from the team who made the course. And...all for FREE! The only commitment you make is your time.

This is an excellent course. The content is easy to follow and the tutors are exceptionally engaging. Additional information and research articles are offered to support and extend learning if that is desired. It is one of the most personally rewarding courses I have undertaken and I gained a thorough understanding of the theory and practice of mindfulness.
