Course Description

While technology is increasingly present, and schools are acquiring technology rapidly, teachers lack guidance about how to best use technology in the classroom. A generation of education leaders is also without analogous technology integration experience making it difficult for school leaders to provide support and best practices for teachers who are using technology, let alone to innovate. This course is designed to give teachers resources, research and a framework so they can assess their current use of technology in the classroom, and how they might improve their use so it improves learning. With these resources, and waypoints in the framework, teachers will have a means of continually assessing their use to be certain students are learning safely and responsibly, and more creatively.
