Need more practice problems! It's really quite complex for beginners, and new terminology is introduced almost every slide, with only one opportunity to practice.

Not having optional lectures at the beginning of each course is a huge miss in my opinion. For auditory learners, the current format makes it challenging to grasp new concepts. I feel like there needed to be a thorough lecture upfront giving more context before making students dive into these exercises. Without this, it feels like you're flying through the exercises to get them done, without the rigor required to actually master these concepts. Quantic needs to invest in producing professor led lectures for each course.

Good course with concepts explained well. A few extra problems would be really helpful to really reinforce the learning and how to practically apply to business cases.

This was a rather complex module. More business cases and edge cases too please. A practice pset might be a good idea to do here. I did learn new concepts though. Thanks

The content is pretty complex for beginners. It would be great to have a short video intro to this course that details the broadview of how this is used in daily business operations. A visual of a sample accountants books plus an interactive video briefly reviewing this courses terminology would be very helpful for the more visual/auditory learners.

This part is really challenging especially for beginners. But with motivation to achieve set goals one will definitely get there. The teaching and technique is effective and we'll detailed. Alot of attention is required. Thank you Quantic for the opportunity to grow in this direction.

For someone that did an undergrad in business, this wasn't bad. But for people that are new to this, I feel like more practice problems and detail are needed to really understand these concepts!

Need more practice questions! Kinda can get it correct, but I'm still a bit unsure at times, especially for someone without biz background! The terms really need time to get into the head

Believe these sections could be more comprehensive for those with no accounting background. The system could prompt for additional practice questions.

I get the questions correct but I don't feel I have a good grasp of the "why" of these things. There should be a little more context around the material.

There needs to be more practice in these. These concepts are not straightforward (or at least many take more than a vocab definition to get your head around), so you guys should include more practice cases. I'd rather spend the time on it to learn it right vs. going through it and then forgetting it all because I didn't apply it enough.

Course material is really good but some concepts are challenging. New concepts could do with some pre-introduction as these need some time to grasp and to apply. Also problem statements focused on 'they why' a company would choose to do its accounts to solve a particular problem might help to latch on to the lessons being taught.

Pretty concentrated stuff but the learning method makes it easy to keep up with and remember. From a non accounting background, the course is eye-opening and very very useful.

Great and useful courses, although it lacks some more solid practice material. Real balance sheet analysis from big companies would be nice to see here.

I found this element of the course challenging, while I have some financial knowledge there is a lot to learn with regards to the terminology, I would say I require more time to read and understand the topic against the proposed the proposed time scales. Its good to be challenged!

I think that these examples require more repetition and contrast to understand the points of difference and how they relate to one another. A refresher from the Accounting I would also have been nice from the POV of someone who took it a month ago and is not from the Accounting background. This is just my opinion though

I think these chapters need more information, the explanations are too short. Would be useful to have "tips and tricks" to aid memory and a FAQ section where quantic could source doubts and improve content. A link section with external resources would also be appreciated.

For someone with accounting and finance background, it is more of a refresher course. I however found the course more engaging. I learnt new accounting concepts - accounting for depletion rather than depreciation

Those new to accounting will likely need a lot more help understanding the types of accounts and debits and credits. Teaching the ALE-RE method could be helpful. There is a great podcast by Jimmy Stewart that made these more clear in my mind. I like the practical application in the module.

Courses are easy to follow and informative, but I agree with the other posters: these courses would benefit immensely from a huge pile of available practice problems, company summaries and empty income statements/balance sheets to fill in. Thanks!

Great content created in an easier way to grasp complex concepts such as cost accounting, amortization and giving a manager's outlook within a business context.

Very easy to understand but still need more exercises to better practice the lessons. There is also a need to ensure that the progress is displayed in terms of percentage to allow learner to better control their pace.

This was a fantastic course! I started not knowing ANYTHING about accounting and now I can create and interpret financial statements. You just have go over the material a few times and do the SmartCases with out aids so youre forced to understand.

This course is engaging, but as someone who has no experience or prior coursework in Accounting (which, for me, is not at all intuitive), I feel like I need much more practice to reinforce these concepts. I passed it, but I still don't quite get it.

I think the format is excellent, but I could do with the option of additional exercises for furnishing the accounts. The questions could also be refreshed (and different) if I don't pass a module the first time.

Really good but the fundamentals could be tested more explicitly - it is too easy to pass without grasping the fundamentals (partly as a function of using multiple choice answers)

I will echo the others in that a little more reinforcement would be helpful. One possibility would be to show net effect to balance sheet as a review after the general ledger questions so you can better visualize which accounts are asset, liability, or equity accounts. Maybe you could add a few more questions as to which type of account you are dealing with as some of the additional account descriptions are added.
