This course was great it met my expectations of creating a nice well coded website at an introductory level. I can't think of anything I disliked or that I'd change about the course.

This is the perfect course to test out web design. They give you a taste of HTML, CSS, and even pushing your website to a server through FTP. Two thumbs up!

I had some knowledge of HTML and CSS before I started the course but this course helped me understand how it fits together and realize I have a lot more to learn. I really liked the instructor's friendly teaching style.

I expected to learn how to make a website from scratch. I learned this and more. I liked how Nick started teaching responsive design from the start -- this is the way to go. Everyone loves using a mobile site that feels like a native app :) I like how Nick presented the material. Between his explanations, the short video animations, and the experience from building the projects / sites, I learned a lot. Can't really think of anything to improve. The course is solid.

Everything I learned I expected to learn. I do wish it was a bit more advanced but there's other courses for that. If there's one thing I could improve, it would be to just change the website we are shown to make, to a different more modern look one.

E expected to learn how to make a basic website and the course delivered just that. I soon toke more advanced courses when i realized web development has so much to offer and in my case treehouse has provided and still does a great studying environment. I couldn't say that i disliked anything, the only complaint i have with the course have to do with the code challenges. They were good and all, but the text editor provided was a little bit buggy witch resulted in me not completing the track i was on, but eventually that got fixed and i completed the track. also the forum provided by the treehouse was a great experience too. It answered allot of questions that didn't get directly addressd in the course.

I joined treehouse and got started with this track because I want to go into web development. I really liked how the course was paced and I feel it was very comprehensive for a beginner course. Was great that Nick even showed in the end of the course how to publish the webpage to the internet. I learned a whole lot more from this one course than any books or classes I have read. Instead of trying to teach you every little thing he shows you a practical approach. He also reinforces plenty that a search engine is your friend and to not feel bad for having to look something up since even professionals have to look things up frequently. All in all a great course that is helping me immensely in creating my first webpage.

I was expecting to learn how to build a basic site. Didn't even know that Responsive Site Design would be covered this early. I found it to be great. Even though the Workspace tool is great, it could use some more polish. Especially when it comes to transferring files to it. Fortunately the Forums helped clarify how to get that part corrected.

Exactly as the course name implies, I expected to learn what it takes to build a simple website. There were things I already knew, but I still learned a lot through this course. Also, though the price says $25, if you're dedicated, you could easily finish this course for free.

Nick deserves more recognition for what he does. It's not easy picking up web design and coding but he somehow makes it seem a if it's easy as learning the alphabet.
