I really liked that the project for the class kept building, and the mad libs program was interesting to complete.

It is much better than taking actual classes since here everybody can learn in his own pace. I have watched many videos so far, from other sources, but this is one of the best I have encountered. I would definitely recommend to everyone who wants to learn how to code.

I really like these lessons! I have been teaching programming in school but there wasn't that I needed. I just what to thank you Craig for this experience and some practice which I got with your lessons. What more about this.. Yeah, that's so good that I was racking my brains to find out how to do these exercises after each lesson. What should I do without them?! I wanna continue studiyng, but... You know, I'll text you by e-mail some suggestions or If you want share my problem to you... Thanks again. Love from Russia.

I love how the lessons are around 6 to 7 minutes each and that there is always a few question exercise at the end of the videos. Keep up the great work. Now onward to the next course Java Objects. Always keep on learning and keep good record keeping as you code. Keep it up.

Having had absolutely no prior programming experience I was surprised at how quickly I adapted to this "new language". This is because of the way the teacher explained and delivered the info - thank you!

I was initially nervous to start another language because I wasn't finished with C# and am still rusty with my programming, but Java is so much like C# in that it gave me a good review. Craig is truly an awesome teacher and made Java really fun to learn. I'm going onto Java object next. :)

I really enjoyed taking this course. The madlibs program made it a lot of fun to keep up and go along. I thought learning Java would be super hard but I was totally wrong. The quizzes and code challenges where really helpful in solidifying the new information that you learned in the previous lesson. Excellent course!

A well-designed course and presenting skill are above the excellence and after every video quizzes are the best but please try to provide more quizzes if you can.

This was a great course for me to get some of the basics of Java introduced and working in my mind. I strongly suggest using a Project Management tool (like Trello) to take your notes. By creating cards for things like strings, commands, ect... it will be easier to recall the information as the course builds upon itself. There is a known error that needs to be fixed because the course provider upgraded without upgrading the coding for the course. It should have been fixed at the same time, but (at the time I took the course) it was still showing up on the console and causing some confusion in the first couple of exercises.

The "Rosetta Stone" of computer programming courses. Easy to follow, great instructor, with a friendly forum community to ask questions. The video's control features help a ton in making it easy to follow. Pausing, and slowing down the video makes it easier to take your time without rushing.

I'm always impressed with Treehouse courses. Unlike Udemy, where you're taking a risk in terms of the instructor's ability to educate, these guys are real educators. Craig exceeded my expectations and delivered the best Treehouse course I've taken so far.

Hey Craig ! I really liked the course , Java is a complex and strong language, but you made it easy enough for a 16 year old like me to learn it. Area of improvement for your course could be the do while loops practice, other than that everything is excellent. console.printf ("Nice Teaching");

At first you get a little overwhelmed with the variables, and the names and the methods. But you start paying attention to what you're being told and it turns out is really easy to follow along with the videos and you understand for real, not just a 5 minute retention in your head and good bye... this is awesome!

The course is good, the instructor is great and the videos quality is really awesome! The only point that I think should have change are the exercises, they are (in general) really easy and not challenging and that's why the 3 stars on content. Topics needed to be aborded more deeply.
