EXCELLENT!! Really, I had been struggling with OOP for a really long time now because there was no course on net explaining it in a way that makes sense..but I learned it here in a week!! And I am SUPER HAPPY!! You guys put things together in a way that beginners to programming can understand and that is the thing I like the most about treehouse! Thank you..

The man is on point. What can I say? The content is dense, but accessible. I ended up watching to absorb all I could, then re watching, and was able to pick up even more info the second time round.

Craig really provides an comprehensive overview of Java and the basics of developing applications in this language. The examples were easy to follow, and despite the complexity of Java for a beginner, he does a good job of not making you feel overwhelmed.

This was a very informative and helpful course. A lot of concepts were hard to follow from time to time, but Craig did a good job of explaining things.

Craig is great, he gose quite fast compared to some instructors ( which I really enjoyed), he has no nonsense need to know way of teaching witch works really well, and means he slowly introduces things he may have skipped over at a earlier point

Craig does an awesome job of being informative and fun. His course is challenging yet approachable, allowing you opportunities to swim on your own. I would advise that new students not be afraid to check out the documentation on any particular topic, and definitely check out the forums as all questions I've ever had have been answered there. Of course it's best to try (and fail) on your own first, before looking for the answers. I will be taking more of his courses starting now!

The course provided by Treehouse is in depth, and very accommodating for beginners. As a PHP Developer, I found many interesting correlations between the languages and simply put, learning Java Objects has given me a much better appreciation of OOP methodology and has allowed me to further expand both my PHP knowledge, and Java.

This is a great course for those who are new to object-oriented programming and/or java. The instructor teaches at a steady pace and challenges course-takers in ways just slightly above our abilities in order for use to grow. However, some of the exercises that are meant to be done on our own have vague instructions. They can feel nearly impossible to complete by myself since I have hardly any idea what I'm supposed to do, but after looking up the answer everything suddenly makes sense. The exercises are extremely beneficial, but they would be even more so if the instructions were clearer.

In Craig;s e-course on OOP in Java I learned everything I learned over the course of whole quarter of college... in just 3 hours. The other big difference between Craig's and my college course was that Craig's course actually made sense and was very fun. Also the enthusiasm and charisma of Craig himself made me more motivated than I would have been otherwise. I am extremely satisfied and would recommend this to anyone who wants to better understand basic OOP!!

I took this as a refresher course. Great course & instructor! Loved the way it is organized and enjoyed all the exercises. Liked the inclusion of Agile methodology in the Hangman project. Very impressed with TreeHouse on the whole.

Java Objects subject was very basic but that's okay. It was a good review for me. However I signed up for Java Objects not introduction to Agile. If I want Agile, I will sign up for that. It was distracting.

This course was an intense one where you really have to apply brain power in the challenges. Probably it is the best way anybody can learn about objects.

I think it would be better with some more exercises. Need more practice! Everything else is really nice and I appreciate very much the friendly teachers attitude. I could feel the worm in his approach.

Craig Dennis is fantastic instructor. The information is presented well and at a good pace for the beginner. Using a Pez Dispenser as a metaphor for OOP is perfect. I never would have thought of that on my own. The language is clear and concise and the course content targeted well. I think a couple of the challenges could possibly be refined a bit to avoid some confusion but that's easily done. The provider could make things a bit easier by providing a "stuck?" button that returns forum discussions related to the challenge the student is facing.

As a person learning Java for the first time, this course really gave me an understanding of objects and how to use them. It also helped me to see how the code works between different Java files, passing data around and making decisions based on that data. I really enjoyed the project, building a hangman game, and looked forward to each step. Highly recommended!

I really loved it learning in treehouse. The most amazing thing that I felt is I was introduced with practices that a developer does. Really loved it. I thank Mr.Craig and treehouse team for creating such a good course.

Craig did an awesome job at working through each program from the ground up. Not only does he provide tips on syntax, he teaches you how to think like a programmer, and tells you about the kinds of situations you will be put in in the real world. Not to mention he has a great sense of humor, and is a little dorky (in a good way).

They did a great job teaching you what you needed to know, then at the end wrapping it up with a final quiz (without it I probably would have forgotten some stuff). It was hard, but it was fun.

His course really helped me understand objects and how to set them up and create them. I did become a bit confused when it came to some of the logic to making the game, but the concepts were well delivered and the instructor presents the material very well.
