I took this course to sharpen math skills that I found lacking while struggling through another on-line class. I found the self-paced format of the course a real bonus. I successfully completed the class in less than two weeks. I strongly recommend this course.

Let me state first off that I did not complete the course. But not because I got tired of it, quite the opposite. My school days, and my mathematical knowledge, are long past, and I wanted to revise some of that knowledge and possibly whet my appetite for more. This course helped me achieve both goals. Both instructors are excellent. Crystal-clear explanations presented in a way in which you feel you are gently taken to a full understanding of the points. And plenty of exercises on top of that. This being a basic course, I realized half-way through that I wanted to engage more, and I registered for a more time-demanding course in algebra. This course is excellent is you just want to acquire or revise basic algebra. And it made me see that I really wanted to learn beyond the syllabus offered in the course. I can only recommend it.
