I really like the way Vince explains things - he breaks things down to very simple to understand bites. Granted this is a very brief introduction to accounting, it's enough to understand the fundamental concepts before moving on.

I felt this was a good quality lecture, the instructor was concise and didn't come up with any hard to understand principles. I would recommend this for high school students or any other person trying to figure out if they want to pursue the study of accounting.

Useless. Prof., you can't pass on your knowledge to others by merely 'sounding heavy'. Total waste of money.

As a small business owner, this course helps me understand the basics of accounting in just 1 hour! Prof Vince extracted all the essence of accounting and put it in an easy-to-understand way, which is good for business owners like me who just want to know the concept and not the actual calculations. The additional e-books are also very helpful, especially for business owners. In short, this course is highly recommended for all business owners who wants a quick way to make sense of all the numbers they see in their daily business! :)

Best sixty minutes I've invested on a course! Well worth your time to take this course first before jumping onto a more complex accounting principles here on Udemy. I've taken three semesters worth of undergraduate and graduate finance and accounting courses and Professor Turner's course has been the clearest (as well as cheapest and most comprehensive) of them all!

The explanations make a lot of sense and mr. Turner can make you understand some pretty complex stuff very easily. It's better than the two books on accounting that I've started reading so far. Now I can really go and learn more about accounting. Very happy I took this course.

Made the topic of accounting clear and easily understood. He took the confusion out of debits and credits - now it makes sense. Now I'm interested in learning more about this profession. It is more than just math and money - it's about a set of principles for tracking and safeguarding an institution's life blood.
