A few months back i came across AngularJS but following the online guide was a big pain. Then i accidentally happened to come across the 20min video from Dan, that just blew my mind and further digging ended up here. Its a great course, i like this approach because you get to do things hands-on and see the results for your self. It helps you a build great boiler plate for personal projects as well. Lastly, i found Dan's teaching style a lot better than others i've seen.

There goes a saying that is best to learn from the experience of others, and that is particularly true with this AngularJS jumpstart course by Dan Wahlin, Throughout the course I have seen Dan masterfully teach the basics and complexities of AngularJS, alongside some tips and possible code style pathways in very simple, understandable terms. This course and the way it was presented made it very enjoyable and exciting to learn; it was all worth it! Thank you Dan for providing your expertise, I look forward to acquiring more knowledge and skills in angularJS!

Clear, repetition of key concepts, well paced. Nice voice! Code examples seemed to be out of sync with lectures. Maybe call out at beginning what code example packet should be downloaded. Integrating lecture and forum and materials would help here. Also renaming the code examples so that on download they are clear what lectures the go with.

With the right pacing @DanWahlin introduces you to angular step-by-step from the ground up through bite-sized chunks of lessons and topics. Clearly explaining what you need to know with every piece of chord introduced - demystifying jargon and exposing best practices. Where he also makes a difference is his way of not restricting you to one way of coding solutions while at same time clarifying pros & cons to each. Personally due to his elucidatory prowess on things had me devour the whole course in a weekend - trust me it's that good! If you wondered whether Angular is for you this course will help you come to that conclusion. Thanks again @DanWahlin for making me like angular.

The course is a good starting point and covers a lot of the basics about AngularJS. It does not cover some items that are really needed for building applications of any significance. For example: it does not touch on using ngInclude or uiRoute for creating multi-view pages which will be needed for apps of any real complexity. Hopefully, Dan will add something on one of these to future releases as either of those two topics would be 100 times more useful than the module 6 on animation.

Dan is an excellent teacher and his course was very well put together. I was very excited as I was going through the sections about the possibilities of what I can do with AngularJS. I really hope that Dan will follow up with an advanced series, I will definitely sign up for it if he offers it!

Dan Wahlin is one of my favorite author. I've been following his screencasts on other elearning platforms for a year or two. So I knew this course would be great. I already knew 90% of this course as I have already created a couple of angular apps and spend dozens hours studying angular, but it's always good to review from different sources. The 10% I didn't had the opportunity to learn at all before were on animations, and there were a lot of good tricks to make an app look more professional. Dan could have pointed the students on the builtwith.angularjs.org website to see smart ways to use animation. But what he demonstrates in the course on this topic is ideal for understanding what other developers did to add nice animations to their web apps. Thanks again for this great course Dan. By the way, I was happy to see you added an express server to create a restfull API in this course. Keep up the great work. A fan from France ;)

I really liked the course. I had tried using factories/services a few months back while trying to learn AngularJS by just searching on the Internet. Dan does a great job of describing the options/alternatives and why he does things a particular way. Also cleared up some misconceptions I had regarding ngRoute. I also paused and typed in the code vs. using the supplied code first. Helps to learn the debugging when you have typos, etc. ;-)

The best tutorial I have been through!! Dan express the big picture clearly with easy-to-understand examples! The class is very helpful and effective: not a word is a waste! The way Dan explaining the big picture and putting different components together is the best part! AngularJS is an AWESOME framework!

I found this to be a great introduction into AngularJS. It touched on all of the important things to get you started. Dan kept the pacing easy to follow and didn't put me to sleep. :) I thought he did a superb job with the course structure and I appreciated having several short videos instead of a few long ones. I'm looking forward to Dan releasing an advanced course!

Dan Wahlin not only knows his AngularJS coding, but also knows how to articulate AngularJS in order to effectively teach the subject. I would highly recommend this course because he is most helpful on all things in the AngularJS world.

Having seen one of Dan's presentations on YouTube I decided to give this course a go and for me it was a perfect introduction covering enough material to allow me to start experimenting. Dan is good at presenting, easy to understand and his enthusiasm is contagious. I would point out that this is an introductory course, but that was just what I was looking for.

I tried to learn Angular from 3 different tutorials found on the internet, and got no where. They were outdated so the steps they showed didnt make sense, or were overly complicated. Dan's approach has enough theory that even if there are some modifications to Angular, I'm confident I would be able to follow them. As someone trying to learn Angular, this tutorial is worth its weight in gold. Dan has a new fan.

When starting with AngularJS I was a little frustrated with a lot of tutorials and even courses out there, until I bumped into this one. Dan really gives you a good overview of the components involved and walks you through using them in a non-trivial example, giving you the basic knowledge so you can start applying it to your own apps. I'd definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a good introduction to AngularJS.

Outside of a calc class I took in high school from a dude who lived and breathed math, this might be the best course I've ever taken (it's by FAR the best online course I've had). Well paced, great content and very polished (no barking dogs in the background is a plus). I'm very interested in the Dan's advanced Angular course which I'm sure will again knock it out of the park. My only criticism is the quizzes; I'd like a few more questions to help me validate how well I've absorbed the materials. Still, overall it's a great course.

I have been working with Web API and MVC 5 though I felt I needed to refine and polish my knowledge of AngularJS a bit. I guess I found what I was looking for and more than I even first expected. This is undoubtedly the best video series content I've seen so far on AngularJS. Dan has succeeded once again in bringing us very informative material. All sections topics are covered in a detailed though very concise manner with accurate code example. This course was a real pleasure to watch and I would personally recommend it as a must to anyone eager to learn to master AngularJS. Thank's Dan.
