I've broken the back button in the past. Many developers make that mistake over and over again. This course explains it in a brilliantly simple manner. After going through this concise course, you'll have all the tools you need for AJAX navigation without having to use heavier weight solutions like a whole MVC framework. 5 stars!!!

a practical and concise coverage on how to handle browser history and the back button. I like how the course starts by pointing out why the back button is important and why next level/professional websites and web applications should handle it properly. I would recommend this course to others.

"Don't break the back button" is a concept that I feel is under appreciated. The most used form of navigation is the back button. Dave explains clearly from scratch how we can break the back button but then how to fix it. The supplied source code is clearly written and has lots of comments, and is a great help. A very interesting and useful course!
