A lot of wisdom here about worrying what other people think.

The tips and approaches presented for helping kids learn how to be resilient and learn how to handle things like fear and perception were very helpful. Although I already was familiar with many of them, the way Dawn presents them is unique and I found myself taking the time to think through the approaches she presented, so I can use them in future. Very helpful course!

I have been having some trouble recently with my young daughter in terms of some anxiety and also issues with not listening. This course is fabulous and has equipped me with some really practical techniques for helping my daughter (and me!) with these issues, and I shall start using and practicing them immediately! It is very interesting to see how completely unintentionally how we act as parents can negatively impact our children's ability to deal with particular situations in the future. Highly recommended to anyone who has young chidren.

I really enjoyed the course and although I've already learned a lot of these techniques, I still picked up a couple of useful tips from the course, e.g. about how to manage stubborn behaviour - one of the most difficult areas in my opinion. Thank you Dawn! :-)

Simple , effective delivery that helped me to relate to the scenarios used. Parenting is complicated and with grandchildren you don't want to repeat the same mistakes - if you think you made any, This helps me look at how I approach topics and questions that my grandchildren bring and gave me a better way to respond which helps all of us. If the whole family adopt the same approach happiness is nearer than we think.

Dawn gives us a short but powerful course on powerful, practical parenting. I love her psychological and sociological grounding, yet her course plays like a conversation with a wise friend. I've raised six children, most to adulthood, and while I'm pleased to say that my wife and I have done much of what Dawn covers quite well, I am also grateful for the improvements she's illuminated for us. Recommended: well worth the course fee.

It had me nodding and saying "oh yes" and "of course" all te way through. Such simple techniques that should be obvious but that we either need to learn, re- learn or just become aware of. I think I will do this course several times before it 100% sticks. But that is just the kind of learner I am.

I really enjoyed this course, it was amusing and informative with useful downloadable material. It made me look at how I communicate with my children and also how I communicate with people in general. It also explained how I can work on improving my communication and help my children to communicate in a different, more effective way. Looking forward to trying out the communication exercises and see how they help both me and the kids.

I like the part about fears being real even if they are only in our heads.

This course was really useful, and has condensed some of the positive parenting messages I've learnt about on my parenting journey so far down into some key areas to focus on. The section on dealing with fears was especially interesting and has given me some great new ideas to try with my 4 year old. What could be a complicated message has been made simple - thanks!!
